Can't all drones be jammed by advanced countries?
Iranians have jammed and destroyed one or more US drones. The US has that Growler jet to jam stuff.
If so, then aren't drones only useful in war against certain less advanced kinds of nations? oh AND also against most civilians who have guns but no advanced weapons.

Drone jamming technology is now ubiquitous. But you're correct, against nations with very strong integrated air defence like Iran, Russia, China, US these drones are highly vulnerable, just look into how Iran downed RQ-170 and recently the $200million RQ-4. But I emphasise, you need to have a strong integrated air defence network. Look at the Saudis for example, they have ample number of Patriot systems yet Iranian UAVs penetrated and took out 50% of their Abqaiaq capacity. That Iranian attack was certainly the most impressive use of UAVs I have seen till date. Drones at the end of the day are another tool of war and as with any tool, you need to use them in the right way.
