Iranian nation has plans for defeating US: Commander

Tehran, Nov 22, IRNA -- Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami says the US has experienced defeats from the Iranian nation over the past years but it has not learnt from that but the Iranian nation has plans to defeat it.

Addressing the International Conference in Support of the Yemeni Oppressed and Resistant Nation, held in Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Conferences Hall on Thursday, General Salami described the US, Britain, Zionist regime and Saudi Household as ‘geometry of calamity’ in the Islamic world, saying, “The US considers Islamic world as an integral part of political geography and believes that it will be unable to act as the world’s big power without imposing cultural, economic, military and political domination over it.”

Condemning the US President Donald Trump for calling Iran as a terrorist, the commander said, “It has planned for paralyzing the Iranian nation and it will surely suffer defeat.”

Revealing the true image of the US political system is one of the positive characteristics of Trump, Salami said, noting that the US is against the nations and is seeking to split up the Islamic nations.

Noting that the Muslims are powerful and well-informed, he said that Muslim nations have strongly slapped the US in the face.

“The fact that we are supporting the Yemen nation and are worried about the Iraqi and Syrian nations is rooted in the profound philosophy of Islam,” he said.

I posted this article by accident in the 'Central and South Asia' section, because I forgot to switch to the 'Middle East and Africa' section after I posted an article about Sri Lanka.

But does Iran belong to 'Central and South Asia' or to 'the Middle East'?

And should the 'Middle East and Africa' section not be renamed to 'West Asia and Africa'?

Or maybe a different section for 'West Asia'?

Iran is not even a Middle Power.

Only China can economically surpass USA and when it does by 2025, the world will be a vastly different place by then.

Already we can feel the fissures in American influence around the world.

American solution to anything is to invade and destroy, if someone develops a strategy to destroy them in the long term (insurgencies) then its feasible atleast

Lets not forget the superpower Soviet Union's failed attempts to take over Afghanistan is widely regarded as one of the major reasons it disentegrated.
