Gebremichal the Tigray leader said on his return that his forces were caught off gaurd by accurate drone attacks in the beginning of the conflict...

he called it a "new type of war" which probably contributed to the rapid collapse of the Tigrayan forces in the beginning. the Media though described them as "UAE" drones...


its amazing if they were Iranian drones all along..... which may well have been the case. as the US is firmly against the ethiopian government in this conflict and the UAE is not allowed to go to the bathroom without washingtons permission when it comes to sensitive topics such as geopolitics and weapons exports...

its really amazing what Iran has done with UCAVs. it gave the world a hint when it shocked and humiliated the saudis and american defense systems on a single attack that shut down half their oil exports

Really?,when did this so called "weapons embargo" happen?.
There was a un weapons embargo imposed way waaay back in 2000,but thats long since been lifted,and I honestly doubt that iran would give 2 sh!ts about any western ie us arms embargo or sanctions.
Interestingly in response to us sanctions imposed in may this year,the ethiopian foreign affairs ministry released a very blunt statement where it said that ethiopia could be “forced to reassess its relations with the United States, which might have implications beyond our bilateral relationship.”
I`d say that in light of these revelations of mohajer 6s in ethiopia that its done just that.

Let me have my doubts.

If Ethiopians purchase drones along with something like howeizeh cruise missiles and pin point ballistic missiles then they can make a good Balance in their respected region specially with Egyptian Army armed with Western and eastern made fighter jets.

Mohajer drones are well known for their stealth features, they watch American fleet in Persian Gulf 24/7/365 without being detected by American destroyers.
