TEHRAN - Iranian President Mahmood Ahmedinejad has expressed his resolve to further promote relations with Pakistan in all fields.

He was talking to adviser on Petroleum Dr. Asim Hussain who held a meeting with him here.
Ahmedinejad expressed his satisfaction over the progress being made over the Pak-Iran gas pipeline project.

The Advisor briefed the Iranian President on the progress made on the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project.He appreciated the efforts of the Iranian President to materialize the gas pipeline project.

Pakistan is importing more electricity from Iran.

These are all signs of Iran being strategic energy partner for Pakistan. What Pakistan and its businessman should do is tap into Iranian market with Pakistani products, specially with textile, garments, agro and other products. Some trade and cultural show in Tehran and other major cities could break the ice.

Pakistan does have world class fashion houses (perhaps best in south asia) if Pakistani fashion houses start adapting to Iranian taste and dress code and open up show room, there are immense possibilities.

Well, if Pakistan can bind Iranian in a energy, trade and strategic mix, there will be less and less chance or have incentive for Persian to do so. If you need to know one important thing about Persians, they will not forgo their interest for anything. Hope Pakistan can capitalize on that by binding Iranians with their strategic and economic interest.

(Indian official statement) Pakistan keep sending terrorists to India, but Indians did not subjected, the passenger and cargo train! neither US stop transit through Pakistan!

Every day, Pakistanis smuggle drugs to UAE and Saudi Arabia but flights are flowing in and out without break!

You cannot punish the whole nation because of a smuggler.
