In what is perhaps one of the most important technological developments in its history, Iran had reached the capability to manufacture single crystal turbine blades on an industrial scale for a few years now. This technology is made by Iranian turbine manufacturing companies MAPNA and PARTO. Here is a short video commemorating the 20th anniversary of these companies where you can see the single crystal development timeline.
This is a crucial technology and has already fed into Iran's military sector by Iran's creation of the small turbofan engine, Jahesh-700. Naturally this now means going forward, Iran can develop larger turbofan engines. This once again highlights how Iran's underlying science and technological developments are providing the means for its military development. Incredible stuff from Iran!
