Given the large number of activities happening on a daily basis in Iran in science, tech and industry and the fact that Iran has one of the fastest scientific growth on the planet I think a dedicated thread is needed.
As of 2015, it was ranked 16th in the world and 1st in the Middle east in science output (a position which will get better and better),

Below is a facility for producing Metal oxide nano structures and carbon nanotubes at rate of 100kg per day which has a large amount of application. All related reactors and machines are also Iranian made, very impressive!

The video is about carbon nanotubes production, the plant produces 100kg of nanotube per day. The video showing Iranian made carbon fibre was posted by member Vevak. Also note, the facility produces other nano carbon related materials other than nanotubes.

Yes, Nanotubes... It is light years apart for those who progress in nominal years... Nanotubes are made first around 11 years ago... Iran now even produces needed machinery...

Iran MAPNA made 25MW portable electric power generator

MAPNA Group is a group of Iranian companies involved in development and execution of thermal and renewable power, oil & gas, railway transportation and other industrial projects as well as manufacturing main equipment including gas and steam turbines, electrical generator, turbine blade and vane, HRSG and conventional boilers, electric and control systems, gas compressor, locomotive and other pertinent equipment. The company was initially named Iran Power Plant Projects Management Company (MAPNA مپنا), but changed its title to MAPNA Group in October 2012.

MAPNA was founded in 1993 with the initial aim of becoming a general contractor for thermal power plants but has evolved and diversified its business lines and capacities to other industries two decades after its establishment. The group is the first and leading Middle East-based general contractor of thermal power plants in MENA region.

In the video below you can see completely Iranian designed IR-8 uranium centrifuge. You can see its size compared to the old IR-1 centrifuge (the much smaller one to the right) which Iran has had for decades and which was a Belgian design.

The Iranian designed IR-8 currently is 15 times more powerful than the IR-1 but development is still ongoing on it. Once all R&D is completed within next 8 years, it can become up to 20-25 times more powerful. Despite the fact it is much more powerful than old centrifuges, it uses less parts thus easier to manufacture and maintain.

Once these babies are mass produced, Iran can within a matter of a day create enough fissile materials for multiple bombs. But lets gloss over that for the time being

During the nuclear day in Iran, The president Hassan Rouhani unveiled many products including Iranian made ultra centrifuge and zonal centrifuges which are used in medical field etc. These are very important achievement and only a few nations on the planet have the such machines:
