Iran mass builds unmanned radio-controlled submarine

“The submarine is in the initial phase of construction and it will be turned into a smart one in the second phase,” said the project director, Reza Mohammadi.


A camera can be installed in front of the submarine, transferring images. The camera can send pictures out from water if connected online.


The submarine can also go down under water by five meters with the speed of two meter per second.


The project manager continued that the submarine is armed with a “balance tank” which prevents additional movements underwater.


The submarine is equipped with a system warning low battery, he said adding, “the newly-built device was tested in sweet water, but it can move in any kind of water.” (source .isna.ir)

Well the speed is very less...........its like 120 mtrs/sec which is 7.2km/hours .

What is the purpose of the submarine ,is it only ofr spying ,even if it for spying it needs to have incresed speed .It should match the speed of normal submarine .

Make it bigger , make it intelligent so that u dont have to guide it , it will search for the target automatically , if that is not friendly , it will attack it or send the coordinates to the command centre.

I will say its a good start ,now make it the best.

Also what is the mass of this sub? Iran is going to unveil their fateh sub in near future, fateh has a mas of 600 tons.

Iran must be commended once again. The fact that it is unmanned is interesting. There are i am sure loads of tests to go through. Wonder what the range and how much in volume it can carry. Another addition to Irans defenses
