And I thought it was the Americans. How dumb of me.
But question still remains why a religious fundamentalist regime in Iran is acceptable to western powers since 1979 but such religious fundamentalist regime in Afghanistan was not acceptable to these western powers. For the last two decades I have been searching for an answer to this question but so far haven't found one.

@BATMAN do you have any answer to this question , you seem to have a good grip on Iran related topics.

Resources and lack of political will.
Iran is the ally the US wants and as such wants to avoid the Iraq situation and instead be welcomed in through a “Persian spring”.

As per rough estimates, almost 15 to 20 thousand young Pakistan boys were recruited and sent to Syria.
These boys were mostly recruited from Kuram, Parachanar, Meeranshah, Bannu areas of Pakistan.
Zubaidioon, an Irani terrorist outfit did that, mostly.
In recent targeting of Mufti Taqi Usmani, the guys who were involved, were the ones who returned from Syria.
These guys were supported by Sipah e Muhammad of Pakistan, a terrorist outfit, mainly backed by Iran for sectarian killing in Pakistan. These guys were also getting support from Khana Ferhang Irani in Karachi, and from the local news reporters, who, though Pakistanis, also served in Syria as interpreters. These terrorists also had support from police elements from NIPA thana.
Now here are some points:

1) some of the terrorists returned home from Syria, and they tried to target top mufti and aalim of Pakistan. What will happen when they all will return?

2) Have Shias of Pakistan already decided that which country is more important, Iran or Pakistan?

3) Now when all game is exposed, will Iran remains a friendly country, or we are ready to break Shestan from Iran? (Qissa hi pak hojaey, na rahygi port, na bajaygi bansri).

4) Irani penetration in Pakistani establishment, and the way, some elements in Pakistani establishments prefare Iran over Pakistan, is indeed alarming.

5) most important: when Iran was doing that, reports were coming, what were Pakistani law enforcement agencies were doing?

Well, here, I want to categorically warn Iran, that you guys have annoyed us to our limits. We know how you manipulate things between us and India. Enough is enough.

@Irfan Baloch @MastanKhan @Imran Khan
Let me tell you something about Shia population . In Pakistan if there is one shia house then next to it 20 sunni houses. And these massive mobilization never stay as secret . I live in neighborhood where all Sunni people live around, they know me and my family extremely well. And it same for every family, If I take your facts , then it should have come to family or general or mohallah gossip . In every shia family or sunni family they have close family ties... So, I don't know from where you bring these high number and from which area people in thousands went to Syria or somewhere ... I would advice , if you ever get a chance travel outside Pakistan and travel few countreis, so you understand the public gossip and propaganda ....

Correct, most of this is BS, the Shia militant groups (though also wrong) never attacked the state or ordinary Sunnis.

While me and my family and Clan have been attacked numerous times over the last 2 decades, even women and children were attacked.

Even during this bleak period, (thankfully much better now) many, many young men and women have joined the forces, and others serving the Motherland.

Don't let false propaganda from injuns and takfiri make you believe otherwise.

who did any takfir here?

Actually , internet and social media is full of propaganda . Imagine a professor lost his life . This college kid took order from TLP leader to kill the professor.
"
Khalid Hameed, an English professor at the Government Sadiq Egerton College in Bahawalpur, was preparing for the farewell party when one of his students attacked him with a dagger, police said.

“Apparently, the accused has no link to any religious group but we are investigating about his past and the reasons behind his mindset,” local police official Farhan Hussain said. He added that the motive given by the alleged attacker was Hameed’s decision to hold the party."

yes, that is another problem , truth is always fragile and weak in this society.. ...

. .
why cant a simple admission that yes a few youth may have gone astray and should go through rehab be just that.

why must it always become iran equals shia faith thing.

this does not help but escalate affairs
That is the problem, we have mindset those who think, all shia belong to Iran. What Pakistani shia has to do with Iran. Recently , my family friend house was attacked and they lost 3 people at the gate and injured two in N-bad Karachi , still police unable to find the killers. Famlies knows the killers but scared.....they don't tell the name.... well there are hundreds of stories .... but that is sad to see such a massive generalization... anyway majority of us moved out of Pakistan for such reasons .

The mindset developed over the years due to the Karbala pilgrimage pathway used via Iran. It became an association of 1+1 rather than seeing that no other route existed for this.

Everyone has its own analysis, we are direct victim of terrorism and constant threat. But every wrong notion has its peak and it slowly dissolved with the passage of time.

.
Whether or not the number of recruits is correct, it is a serious threat.

Time has come to look at the threat spectrum as a whole without putting on "brotherly" glasses.

Lets be mean and think about our national interest only. And anyone who threats our national interest by any means should face the counter measures that we deploy on all levels.

Lets show them our options and ask them to back off now. Iran has many fault lines itself which it created by mistreating its minorities. I'll leave it at that for now...

Yeh, serious threat for India and their occupation of Kashmir.

One of my subordinate's elder brother (Bhakkar city, Punjab) was in zainabyun, died in syria. Now their whole family ran to Iran(quom).

I thought these guys are deobandi. the most dangerous islamic sect in the world

https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/intro/islam-deobandi.htm

Deobandi Islam: The Religion of the Taliban - https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/library/report/2001/Deobandi_Islam.pdf

Many prominently members of the Pakistan movement were Deobandis and Imran Khan also is one. I can’t speak for Dar ul Uloom in India, but most of us here have been fervent supporters of the Pakistani state.

It was Deobandis of Pakistan who gave Islamic legitimacy to the Pakistani state, and people like Maulana Maududi, Dr. Israr Ahmad, Tariq Jameel, Junaid Jamshed, Shabbir Ahmad Usmani, Muftis Taqi and Rafi Usmani who have always been at the forefront of our nation.

As far as Taliban, it is Afghans decision how they choose their leaders and not our concern.

Unfortunately many people conflate Wahhabism and Deobandis, nothing can be further from the truth. Deobandis believe in Sufism and are a natural continuation of the Islamic activities of people such as Ahmad Sirhindi.
