Iran court orders man’s right eye gouged out

An Iranian man should be sentenced to having his eyes gouged out after pouring acid over a young girl's face leaving her blind, an Iranian court has ruled.

Opposition group, The National Council of Resistance of Iran, said the man could have his right ear and nose cut off as punishment for attacking the girl with acid, causing her to lose her eyesight and right ear, according to the British Daily Mail.

The man was convicted last October of intentionally attacking the girl, it said.

The national council said Iran's high court defended cutting off the body parts of those found guilty of a crime, and removing eyes, as part of the country's judicial system.

Last month, the state-run Mehr news agency, reported another Iranian man was sentenced to have one hand and one foot cut off as punishment for an unspecified crime.

As many as 95 people are thought to have been executed in Iran this year.

Pakistan specifically its punjab province badly needs an eye for an eye punishment law, ....throwing acid on faces of women has become routine news there. There was some oscar winning documentry about it.

If you guys support the 'eye for an eye' verdict in this case then you should also support the same in all other cases otherwise you'll be a hypocrite.......then there will be no need for any jail term for any criminal as the perpetrator will receive exactly the same treatment that he/she subjected the victim into...

the guy ruined a life , sadly here they are a little soft on these sort of cases . they put delays on the punishment in many cases they even don't do it .I hope this time they go forward with the punishment , some guys must learn when the girl say no , it mean you get on your life and find a girl who accept your proposal ,not going and destroy the girl like you own her and if you can't have her nobody else can have her.
