Iran has always been by the side of Syrian nation, gov't at difficult times/ Announcement of readiness to provide aid to Syrian quake victims
The President stated, "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always stood by the Syrian nation and government at difficult times and is now ready to provide immediate relief to the Syrian earthquake victims".
In a telephone conversation with Syrian President Bashar Assad, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi announced the condolences and sympathy of the Iranian government and nation to the Syrian brothers and sisters for the earthquake in the country, and said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always stood by the Syrian nation and government at difficult times and is now ready to provide immediate relief to the Syrian earthquake victims".
In this telephone conversation, Bashar Assad, the President of Syria thanked the President of Iran for his call and sympathy and said that considering that this was the first earthquake in Syria in the past 250 years, he called for benefiting from the experiences and capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran to provide better relief to the earthquake victims.
In this telephone conversation, the President also agreed to Bashar Assad's request to use the experiences and capabilities of Iran in providing relief in natural disasters, including earthquakes, and to send a technical team to the country.
