Secular fascism is as bad as religious extremism. Fascists, Atheistic Bolsheviks, Chinese communists and Nationalists of the West have killed much much more human beings in the last one hundred years than those killed by religious extremists in the last one thousand years or so.

The current government is weak. Instead of acting on insurgents and trying to weaken dangerous ideologies, it has empowered local goons for useless cow protection and similar crap.
To deal with all this, they need to use the army and paramilitary to strike at the leadership and foot soldiers of these rogue organisations.
They appear to have had some good successes against the maoists, and they may look into replicating the same.

The govt. is weak because it does not have the numbers in Rajya Sabha.

Make the govt. strong before asking them to do what needs to be done.

As long as your "moral support" goes to pappu, this will be the present and future of India.

As late as 2000, the Indian law allowed people under the age of 18 to be hanged .... Even today, a criminal who is at least 18 years old at the time of committing crime can be awarded death penalty under Indian law.

And the India Law allows execution by firing squad ...

Secondly kids under 18 cant be given death penalty. That is why Kasab's initial defence was that he was under 18 which was proved untrue by medical examinations. It was the same reason why the juvenile rapist in the Nirbhay murder case just got 3 years in jail while all others have got death penalty. BTW they have still not been hanged because their appeals are going on and are currently with the President of India.

We have executed only 4 people have been executed in the last 14 years. Dhananjay Chaterjee in 2004 for Rape and Murder, Kasab 2012, Afzal Guru 2013, Yakub Menon 2015 for terrorism.

The method of execution in India is hanging. Shooting to death is only under the Army Act and it is for any armed forces personnel found guilty of treason and convicted by a court martial. This punishment has not been carried out.

Well, you start with saying that "You are wrong" but nothing in your post actually goes against what I had posted. Read my post again, carefully, You are saying exactly what I had said ... I said "Law allows" and "punishment can be awarded", I didn't say it's always carried out that way ...
