Thank you for letting me in. I am Col. Muhammad Khan's daughter. My Babajan raised 43FF. I am a mom of 3 and live in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Now that my daughter is getting married in'shaAllah, we plan on going to Pakistan since my mom is there. I haven't visited home in 13 years and now we thought it was high time. I read a thread on places to visit near Islamabad and found a beautiful post-sooo informative. I found this amazing gentleman- I guess a Lt. Colonel named "krash" (must be short for something). So I got hooked and decided to join-though I am not at all tech savvy or a social media person hehee. Got my hands full with my own family and my little hobby-cake decorating.

Al' is the definite article in Arabic. when it sits before s,r,d,n in arabic, it merges like as-salam/as-shams/an-najmu/wassajara/ar-rajulu/ad-diku...
so its okay to say salam alaikum.

AOA Aunty. Welcome! So glad that you're visiting. Just some pointers/questions:

1.) May I ask what made you leave Pakistan (I've lived in Ontario on and off myself) and not come back, even for a visit, for thirteen years (especially when your father was involved in activities of national significance and pride)? Just curious!

2.) You may know this already --- but the "ranks" next to the usernames of posters on this forum are not real ranks, rather just reflect the number of posts ("experience") somebody has on the forum.
