You know here in the state of Bengal people have always perceived Japan to be a true friend of India for the help that your country provided to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army during the WW-II.The common Bengali people will always be grateful for that unconditional support that you gave in our freedom struggle.Plus the people to people contact between the two countries has always been warm and friendly,so i guess all these make Japan a close friend of India along with Russia,Israel and France..

Ha! I scrolled by fast, and saw the thumbnail first - i initially took that light behind him to be some kind of funny hat, and thought "what the hell is India doing to him?!". Time to make an eye appointment, apparently.

Ha Ha Ha, maybe' he's a Saint? Tho I'm confident our fellow Chinese colleagues in PDF would argue otherwise.

Definitely there is a very strong admiration for Indian culture, and Indian people. India is one of the oldest civilizations that still exists in continuity, and we Japanese admire this and honor it. Buddhism, which is one of the major religions in Japan, hail from Hindustan. So we share this cultural link and bond.

Thanks also, bhai, for the translation of Kuch kuch hota hai.
