India’s Snub to China on OBOR: Unwise to Ignore Economic Interests

I think India was left in the lurch by the yanks. Indians were pumped by the yanks to make all the noises and at the last minute send their delegation at the summit.

I would suggest learning it, that's the English the whole world is going to speak pretty soon.

Let's just call it Inglish, it is not really English anyway. As for your language to be spoken in the world, you have to be a REAL superpower first. :enjoy:

We have many such terms, Hinglish for example.

Don't worry, you will see it in your own lifetime.

Im amused by the all that shouting, yelling, incessant interjections and even cursing- is this how Indian news interviews/discussions between participants and hosts themselves- are conducted on TV?
So much for their Diversity and Democracy.
Better if they don't pretend that they are speaking English.
ah nehneh ah nehneh ah nehneh ah nehneh ah nehneh ah nehneh ah nehneh . . .

.
India made the right choice in this case.

Why do you China need to force another country to join? India said no so just move on instead of forcing them to join.

Too many interruption.. No idea what they saying

They said the same things when I called in for tech support. LOL.

Watched first few minutes. The only dissenting voice was being purposely muted. What's the point of inviting someone, then ask a question, and then when he is presenting his point of view, start yelling, cursing, and and giving mic to others, while saying "I have listened to you, now have some courtesy to listen to me". Lolll. Come-on... You guys haven't given an opportunity to him in the first place.

Unfortunately, most of the Indians are like these participants. I work with them in Middle East, and whenever an Indian starts showing his real self of interrupting in a meeting, I usually give them a shut up call.

Disgusting people. The guy who wasn't allowed to speak should have left the show in the first five minutes.

Why are the commies so desperate to get India on board this wagon? @Nilgiri

Make NPA problem worse so govt switches to good old 90% dole based instead of actually help trying to grow the economy sustainably.

Remember commies = doles = votes. Thats their system in a nutshell.

.
reality dont point to the same with your rhetoric. Pakistan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and now Nepal-

India can remind CHina all she wants.

India is surrounded by China on all sides.
Havent' you been following? China is pretty pissed off at SL and Nepal. Apparently they are now following Indian wishes and backing away from agreements with China.

. . . .
I say again. India will join the project at its own terms and conditions.. We are not having an shortage of investors in infrastructure... We wont join the project at China's terms and conditions... Like how my neighbours do it.. I dont blame them.. India cant match China currently in Billions for neighbours... We have our own people to take care off...

Trade works because of association. Without association, there is no trade which means no investor is stupid enough to invest when there isn't any chance of trade remotely.

There is the reason why many nations are joining CPEC because of its network ranges from the Middle East to Central Asia with confirmation at hand. Only India is feeling left out as usual while under the impression that they are successfully isolating Pakistan from any economically opportunity.

Without India, Asia still can compete as next Europe given the range from both sides of nations surrounded by Pakistan.

First complete CPEC. First make it beneficial for Pakistan. Then lets talk of other countries joining CPEC.
What more association you need? India and China are already doing enough trade that's more than Pakistan's overall trade volume. Secondly nobody would have invested in China if they had believed in ur so called version of "association".

Small countries might need it. But large countries dont. China, Japan didnt need associations to develop. The only comparable example is EU and nothing more. We dont like cheap chinese goods engulfing us...

You guys need to bend ur laws to get the Chinese invest in ur country,.. We dont...

And India has trade deficit with the same China from whom its buying shiploads of solar panels, medicine ingredients and if thats not enough 130 million USD worth of apples & pears, despite the Kashmir apples being the best in India.

Lol

Some people like to brag, but without success though.
What an audacity!

When I say cheap, I dont mean their good products. Mobiles, Electronics, Machineries, Power equipments etc etc.

Cheap I meant fakes, toys, firecrackers and all the things available in India.

But again there is no use talkin to u. There is a saying in South. "There is no use playing violin to the back of a buffalo".
