After getting hopeless in India after a medical report in Mumbai, Indian woman reaches Pakistan for treatment and undergoes a successful weight loss surgery in a private hospital in Lahore.
37 years old Mali Susan reached Pakistan for help accompanied by her mother after an unpleasant experience in Mumbai. Dr Maaz performed successful surgery on her and from 150 kg, has reduced her weight to 80 kg.
Bariatric surgery is a process that causes weight loss by restricting the amount of food the stomach can hold. It is achieved by causing malabsorption of nutrients or by a combination of both gastric restriction and malabsorption.
Susan’s weight was 150 kg and after undergoing medical processes in India, couldn’t be reduced more than 15 kgs. Unsatisfied by the result, she started to consider other options outside India.
Susan, after the successful surgery, was pleased by her treatment and lauded the expertise of the doctors. Though India is known for its quality medical services, it is quite welcoming that an Indian woman turned to Pakistan for services after being dissatisfied in the medical assistance offered in her own country.
The doctors of the said hospital also appreciated the services of Dr Maz and said that this will help improve the image of Pakistan on a global level as well and more people, especially from the region will consider Pakistan for medical services in this particular sphere. The patient also had a lot of positive things to say about the doctor and his team, and it is indeed an honour that we are saying goodbye to a healthy, satisfied patient.
