Purely a commercial decision. There is an intense competition between Indian channels for the market share, which is pretty much limited. There are too many Indian channels, like Star, Zee, Sony, Sahara, 9x, Colours.. so on & so forth, all fighting for the same share. Makes sense for these channels to bring in Pakistani programmes.. & won't be surprised if other Indian channels will soon follow the suit.
