Indian gov has no jurisdiction on any company or management outside India of Indians, except for the consular services.

If it is unjustified under Qatar's Law of Court. Then action can be taken against the school.

That's her discretion! She resigned, under pressure of course, seems she didn't give a though about legal remedy.

Then she can file an FIR and ask for a lawyer. If under Qatar's law of court the management is found guilty they will be answerable.

So Indian management of MES is against freedom of expression ?

Why should GOI forward PIL or FIR? The proceedings will be according to Qatar court of Law.

In case you still haven't read OP

The Indian Embassy in Doha confirmed to PTI that it had received several complaints about the incident. "We have forwarded it to the school. It is a private school. We have no say in their matters. The decision to terminate the services of a teacher comes under school's authority,"

It has nothing to do with Qatar's court of law, but everything to do with flag bearers of world's largest democracy.

An Indian teacher in Doha was forced to quit over PM Modi's caricature.

DOHA: An Indian teacher at a school in Qatar has reportedly resigned after posting an allegedly offensive cartoon of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on her Facebook account, according to local media.

The daily Peninsula said parents complained to the school's management about the post. The school reportedly conducted an internal investigation against the teacher who then quit, the paper added.

"I didn't create the caricature nor did I post it to insult Modi. I just used it to protest against what has been happening back home," the teacher, who was not named, said to the Peninsula, adding that she received threats on her Facebook page after her post. The Indian community was reportedly extremely critical of the cartoon as an insult to the Prime Minister.

The school management, when contacted by the Press Trust of India (PTI), said that the teacher was asked to quit since she used the school's name and logo with her Facebook post. "Being a teacher she shouldn't have posted such a derogatory caricature on her Facebook account. A teacher is a role model for the entire society," a senior official from school told PTI.

The Indian Embassy in Doha confirmed to PTI that it had received several complaints about the incident. "We have forwarded it to the school. It is a private school. We have no say in their matters. The decision to terminate the services of a teacher comes under school's authority," an embassy official told PTI over phone.

Unjustified, unless Shri Modi is a religious figure. .

Our PM doesn't care for such non sense & silly matters. His family had always maintained a low profile

He is already under lot of stress, tension. He has mellowed quite considerably. RUNNING THE AFFAIRS OF ANY COUNTRY IS NOT A JOKE. Expectations r always high.

I would like to remind you that a temple which was dedicated to Narendra Modiji was demolished under his orders.

Then she can file an FIR and ask for a lawyer. If under Qatar's law of court the management is found guilty they will be answerable.

Again I would say it's her discretion. She resigned also means she quitted.

Unjustified, unless Shri Modi is a religious figure. Even Indian media caricatures him, news papers have a dedicated page for cartoons.

We do not know the what kind of caricature was it, at times people crosses the limit...... If it was something like you mentioned (like the one appears in news paper) the action is not justified......

Yes, so it her choice and the issue strictly remains between her and management.

By extension issues between violator and the victim are strictly between former and latter, why do people go out to street for justice? Logic can be extended and applied to too many situation. Moreover, considering your statement true, media outlets should be closed for good - no point reporting news if the matter is strictly between parties.

Still not justified even if the issue is between her and management. Why did the management responded on the complaints of parents? Issue was between her and Shri Modi, right?

We do not know the what kind of caricature was it, at times people crosses the limit...... If it was something like you mentioned (like the one appears in news paper) the action is not justified......

True! We are yet to see what kind of caricature was that. A teacher would normally never hit below the belt.
