Right after Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to the United States, Indian government removed article 370 from Indian constitution in an effort to change the demography of occupied Kashmir region. Preparations for this change started many years back.

In the last 15 years, India kept us busy in our financial matters, developed relations with Afghanistan and Iran and surrounded us from all sides except from a small northern corridor that connects us with China. Not just India kept us busy with real terrorism by supporting elements thriving outside of Pakistan, it provided funds to the politicians and helped them stash money abroad, develop policies that proved harmful for Pakistan's economy in the long run and defame Kashmir struggle by forcing the world to believe that Kashmiris' demand to get the right of self determination is in fact terrorism. Unfortunately, Pakistan's poor performance in foreign affairs department gave our cunning neighbor a free hand when our state turned its eyes away from our traditional friends and let India develop diplomatic, social and economic ties.

So What's the Current Situation for Pakistan?

1 - India enjoys a preferential treatment when it comes to diplomatic and economic relations even among Muslim countries (including our time tested friends in GCC, and our western neighbors Iran and Afghanistan). There are a couple of exceptions though, i.e. China and Turkey. With China, India has some unsolved disputes and it is one major reason we have China still on our side. Turkey, one the other hand, is not a very powerful country and situated faraway, and thus India doesn't feel threatened by Turkey's actions. Be very clear, it wasn't Pakistan's excellent performance on diplomatic front that kept China and Turkey on our side. Pakistan has lost most of its traditional friends due to our worst diplomatic performance over the past 10-15 years.

2 - India is financially very strong with huge purchasing power and this inclines most of the countries to its side. Pakistan on the other hand has to take measures to reduce our imports further and this is not liked by many countries in the world. No one in the world cares about the innocent people being murdered all over the world, unless they are directly affected by the consequences. Kashmir is a faraway region and no one cares about it. In fact, the economic ties with India are more lucrative and give more dividends in the short and long run. Occasional demonstrations to remind the world about its moral obligations are not enough to get the much needed support.

3 - India is militarily much more stronger than Pakistan. With its current inventory and already signed contracts in all three branches of security forces, the gap is increasing rapidly. Moreover, India has access to more conventional weapon systems than Pakistan without exceptions. The whole world wants to sell its weapons and India has the cushion of choosing the better (if not the best) available weapons from any country, be it a S-400 air Defense system or fifth Generation fighter jets. Pakistan on the other hand has access to only Chinese weapons without restrictions. Other countries put caveats on the usage of weapons. This access to additional weapons is more favorable to India in case it decides to invade us and the conventional war extends to more than six months.

The above three situations provided extra ordinary confidence to India when it abolished Article 370 from its constitution. Many believe that while Pakistan was busy in negotiating a deal between US and Taliban, India received a go ahead from its western friends (including the United States) to play its final card on Kashmir.

What's the current situation for Kashmiris in Indian Occupied Kashmir

Because of India's strong position on diplomatic and economic fronts, we have not seen a strong response from the world condemning the human rights situation in IoK. The countries and international media outlets, which continued to report on Uighur Muslims multiple times a day due to their vested interests against China, have given less than 10% of the coverage of Kashmir in comparison. For them, Hong Kong is a bigger issue than Kashmir currently.

Kashmiris are being murdered, women are being raped and children are being abducted, and the whole world is just.. watching.

What are Indian Plans

Many of us are of the view that India is soon going to attack Pakistan. I respectfully do not share this standpoint and in my honest opinion, India will continue with its Genocide in Kashmir. Why I say this, following points may provide some merit to my opinion:

1 - Going to a war wiith Pakistan will internationalize this issue further and UNSC will have to, although unhappily, take up the issue and pass another resolution. It is in India's favor to continue with the genocide for the next several years and keep Pakistan on its toes on western and eastern borders.

2 - India has an extremely difficult to tackle unconventional weapon. Here I am not referring to nuclear option that even Pakistan has and can use that on India preemptively in case of war. The unconventional weapon I am talking about here is water. With article 370 gone, India believes that it is under no obligation to provide Pakistan's share of water as inked in Indus Water Treaty. India can easily destroy 1000s of hectres of ready crops in summers and block our rightful share of water in winter. In addition, the socio-economic impact of Indian water terrorism is so huge that Pakistan might post negative growth in the coming years if India fully takes control of the water. When a country has all the time and this type of unconventional weapon, it will be extremely unwise for it to go to war to defeat its enemy.

3 - Some people believe that India wants to capture AJK and GB and that's one of the reason of imminent Indian attack. I disagree with this point of view as well because Indian intention from the beginning is to convert LoC into international border. Indian plan is to keep the world unaware of the situation in IoK (even if there's free media in Kashmir, world will only focus on Hong Kong though) and push the refugees towards LoC so that Pakistani people pressurize Pakistan to accept and settle them in Pakistan. The recent statements from Indian terrorist politicians about kidnapping Kashmiri girls is part of this dirty plan because at one point, Kashmiris will prefer saving the dignity of their daughters and move to Pakistan rather than staying there and keep giving their innocent Kashmiri girls and children to Hindu terrorists. India may, however, apply the same tactics in other states which are protected till now under its constitution.

What are Pakistani options?

While the recent diplomatic offensive of Pakistan on India is great (although extremely late), it is simply not enough to stop India from implementation of its plans. At one point, world will stop reading Prime Minister Imran Khan's tweets and UN/ SC will start ignoring Pakistani requests of intervening in the region. Pakistani options are extremely limited:

1 - For the sake of Kashmiris, try to convince them to accept India constitution and live like other Muslims of India. On the surface, this option seems quite reasonable and beneficial for Kashmiris. However, given the nature of Hindu terrorists, it might give them a false indication that Pakistan can now be subjugated further. In my opinion, if Pakistan takes this route, it will be disintegrated.

2 - Strike a deal in Afghanistan quickly and form an alliance with Taliban. The only Muslims who have the will to help and support Muslims of other parts of the world are Taliban. However, we will have to support them in return whenever they need our support in future in return. As a Pakistani, I believe that when we require help, everything becomes halal.. All the support that comes from our friends is welcomed. However, when others expect something from us, we become neutral. Anyway, Pakistan and Taliban have an excellent working relationship as we can see Pakistani influence in the peace talks, we can safely assume that they will be willing to fight alongside Pakistanis in the gorilla war. It will take some time, but will eventually get us results. There's, however, a downside of this strategy. We will become financially extremely weak in the process. FATF will blacklist us on Indian demand and we will not be able to trade with a lot of countries freely.

3 - Consider water terrorism as an attack on Pakistan. Tell the world that Pakistan has lost a lot of people, livestock, crops and whatnot due to Indian unconventional attack on Pakistan using water and it is an attack on Pakistan's sovereignty. Allah swt has given Pakistan yet another reason to launch a counter attack. World will not condemn Pakistan fully if Pakistan attacks on dams and completely destroys them in the process as there is an ample evidence of Indian water terrorism. In response, Indian will either attack Pakistan or increase its genocide. If India attacks Pakistan, Pakistan's objective will be achieved. If not, Pakistan should do a false flag attack on Pakistani soil.. and attack India again.

Remember guys, India fear the war more than Pakistan.. The recent progress they achieved in the last decade will reverse. Foreign investment will reduce, tourism sector will destroy, and the loss to India will be at least 50 times more than Pakistan. We know that in the process, we Pakistanis may go instinct, but the world will remember Pakistan as a dignified nation rather than a hapless coward nation. Other countries will also learn a thing or two of how to prefer a dignified death. We are a nation of Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam, and our ancestors include Abu Bakr Siddiq, Umar Bin Khattab, Uthman Ghani, Ali bin Abi Talib, Khalid Bin Walid, Hassan and Hussain and many other Sahaba (Radiallahu Ta'ala Anhum) and people like Muhammad Bin Qasim, Nooruddin Zangi, Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi, Sultan Mehmood Ghaznavi, Tipu Sultan, and many more.. and our recent example is Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who attacked Kashmir without thinking about the consequences and snatched a large part of Kashmir during his lifetime.

Just remember: A coward dies hundred times a day, the brave meets death but once

My very dear Pak,

A great post. Thoughtful and also underlying what we are at.

The Struggle for Kashmir is The Struggle to protect the Idea of Pakistan. It is that simple.

The annexation of Kashmir and the ongoing genocide brings us back to pre 1947 stage.

What the GanguFacistRegime has done is to put the Knife on Throat of Pakistan itself.

If we back away from The Struggle for Kashmir the very PakState and Our Armed Forces will leave legitimacy.

We need to see this act of annexation not in isolation but in the broader context of The Greatest Game in Town where Pakistan is the Heartland.

For now Pakistan has decided to go to ICJ regarding Kashmir annexation.

The Struggle for Kashmir is multi-dimensional with 9 Vectors to be worked upon simultaneously.

We need to follow The Jinnah Doctorine to the letter. In this lie all our options.

#PakistanZindabad

#KashmirIsPakistan

#PakistanIsKashmir

P.S. The Struggle for Kashmir is now in nobody's hands... it has gained Life of its own... everyone is going to be sucked in it. This was bound to happen.

I agree that we should continue to explore all the diplomatic options, but in my opinion, eventually, we will have to take control of the situation.

It's the slow knife that cuts the deep as is the saying. We made some errors in approach to this issue.
We should've showed force before going UNSC. If we would've conducted airstrikes or some other serious measures right away forcing India towards war. World community would've gotten involved and no further escalation and only then we should've gone full diplomatic. We usually do things opposite way ugh. Imagine UNSC having a meeting a day or two after serious escalation. That was one way to force UNSC to intervene and take it seriously. Anyways what's done is done.
What to do now?
1. Wait until curfew is over until then bleed Indian army slowly especially target those specialized mountain troops. Gather intelligence where those special mountain troops are located and se snipers to nuterlize them one by one. They can be serious hassle for any internal movement of Kashmir too.
2. Have a wide plan for supporting Kashmiri movement and try to secure logistic lines to support them both from ceasefire line and within India itself.
3. Keep inching inwards towards Kashmir post by post. Ask Chinese for more ammo and artillery and keep Indians busy with artillery game.
4. As soon curfew is taken off there will be protest on streets of Kashmir and as soon Kashmiri movement by arms is at its peak apply pressure squeezing Indian army between internal security of Kashmir, confronting freedom fighters and Pakistan army simultaneously. Maybe Chinese can move couple of armored division closer to India.
6. Keep India in state of anxiety state of mind that there could be a war any day. It will keep the investment in India insecure it won't be as much. Maintaining army in active state across three fronts will hit Indian economy.
7. Keep telling the world we wanna talk and will talk while not talking at all keeping foreign relations at low.
8. Keep the airspace closed even for those ummah brothers whose airlines fly to India while they give awards to the one who wants to destroy us. India will loose more than us. Also will help Pakistan airlines securing some western routes.
9. Stay fully focused on closing Afghanistan deal so we can totally focus on Kashmir.
10. Quickly raise another armoured division and have all three commands on east have a full armored division at their disposal.
11. Double down taxes on those traders who do business with India wether directly from within Pakistan or via third country eg rice being sent to UAE from Pakistan and sold to international market as Indian. So Indian take credit for our quality products.
12. Ban all Bollywood movies and Indian media should be banned in Pakistan.
13. Every single day someone should make a statement about Kashmir while army destroy them post by post until we are in advantage.
14. Support every freedom movement in India wether Khalistan Asam Nagaland or human rights. We can use our left wing liberal loving lafafa khors to our use by diverting their attention to human rights violations in India. **** it pay Dawn some $$ to adopt pro Pak agenda because their religion is money and money is what they worship so why not set up a sepreate propaganda fund and let media houses prove their loyalty to tap into that fund.
Now that India talking nukes it means they have blinked now keep applying the slow pressure cutting deeper. Make Indian economy Indian forces and Indian RSS bleed from outside and inside. Let them scream and shout they cried wolf too many times and after this episode not many are going to take a heed. Especially as long as trump is president and we can balance Russia as well by keeping engaged.

Another strategy can be
1.Like mosquito at night biting and sucking blood and because it's dark you cant see it and cant kill it but your sleep is ruined. You kill one next hour is another one . Internal freedom movement.
2. Like a fly during the day keep annoying you every moment especially when you trying to focus on something. You kill one here comes another. Diplomatic front.
3. Like a bee which is bothering you encircling your head at the moment you started to relax now you are annoyed. You are bit hesitant because bee can sting back at you. You can shake it off making it fly away by swinging around arm and shaking head but 10 seconds later it's back. Military front on LOC.
Make day night and evening so annoying that you are forced to find another place. Indians are like fox sitting next to lion(USA) thinking of herself as lion. One day lion will be hungry and will find a fat fox sitting there to devour.

"Modi will rise to the occasion and since (former PM Atal Bihari) Vajpayee did not have that kind of a mandate, we thought he will reach out to Pakistan, to the people of J&K and start what Vajpayee had left". These were the words of the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir (Indian Administered Kashmir) Mehbooba Mufti. Her party the PDP or Jammu and Kashmir People's Democratic party was a pro-autonomy party, founded in 1999, by her late father Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. Less than 5 years ago her party joined a governing alliance with the BJP and laid out an "Agenda of Alliance", a framework, it was hoped, which would reconcile all issues with relation to Jammu and Kashmir and the Indian state. Today she occupying her time praying and reading, while she is under house arrest. Hopefully, she can reflect upon, upon what can in hindsight can only be called appeasement, in the vain hope of trying to change a tiger's stripes. The abrogation of Article 370 and section 35A was the final straw and stripped away the facade of an Indian state that cared about the people of Kashmir and not just the territory.
The actions of 5 August 2019 prove that the BJP never planned to live up to the "Agenda of Alliance" agreement they made with the democratically elected government of Kashmir. This agreement stated "While recognizing the different positions and appreciating the perceptions BJP and PDP have on the constitutional status of J&K considering the political and legislative realities, the present position will be maintained on all the constitutional provisions pertaining to J&K including the special status in the Constitution of India." The intended purpose of this plan was to "catalyse reconciliation" and build confidence "within and across the Line of Control (LoC) in J&K thereby ensuring peace in the state." It was only after this that the "environment for all round economic development of the state and prosperity of the people" would be enabled.
While Modi was making these commitments in Kashmir, his party was pushing "cultural unity" across India. Revisionist efforts in education for instance advocated the creation of a "mono-cultural Hindu indentity" for India. It is writing out the ever-present diversity of India, and filling educational and judicial institutions with RSS workers. Instead of implementing the promises of the 2014 election, Modi has chosen to double down on identity politics. It is in this context, Modi's unchecked authoritarianism allowed him to believe he could change the status of Kashmir, in violation of the United nations resolutions of its disputed status, and exacerbate the trust deficit among Kashmiris.
The Draconian measures being taken to force Kashmiris to accept the new status quo, makes a mockery of Indian democracy. If the ruling party can degrade the status of Kashmir from that of a state to that of a union territory, it is also free to carry out more extreme repression to stifle any possible dissent. Despite the partial media blackout, reports are emerging of the arrest of thousands of people including children. During these arrest by Indian force, it is reported that women are being assaulted as well. This should be no surprise, as the misogynistic rhetoric by top BJP leaders in India are inciting crimes against the women of Kashmir. On August 10, Manohar Lal Khattar, chief minister of Haryana, was quoted as saying: "Some people are now saying that as Kashmir is open, brides will be brought from there. But jokes apart, if (the gender) ratio is improved, then there will be a right balance in society."
In an effort to divert attention from their repression in Kashmir, Indian troops are increasingly exchanging artillery and gun fire with Pakistani Troops across the Line of control. These diversionary tactics are leading to the loss of civilian life, and prove once again that India does not care about the people, but merely control over the territory of Kashmir.
Modi has stripped away the pretense of democratic rule and exposed the truth, that India is a foreign occupying entity, interested in the territory but not the people of Kashmir. Kashmiris have not been elevated into full citizens but turned into hostages, and prisoners in their own homes. Modi, the BJP, and their RSS inspired ideology are turning Gandhi's India into a fascist police state.

To the People of India:

The BJP are taking you down a dark path. One where other nations have gone, and ended in only ruin. The BJP's rhetoric is not a populist message of equitable development, but an exploitation narrative that is being used to divert your attention from the economic mismanagement and failure to fulfill its 2014 election development pledges. Indian democracy, with all its diversity not in spite of it, allowed Indian leaders to stand with their heads held high in the comity of nations, but in one action, Modi and his government have subverted the Indian Courts, renounced the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi, and has labeled anyone who honor's the Indian tradition of consensus build with the people being governed, an anti-national. Indians have always claimed to be a peaceful people, with a culture that advocates social justice. Guided by the principles of Dharma, Indians can not stand by as the institutions of the republic are being dismantled, and still claim to be the same nation that looks to Gandhi. Indians need only look to their sacred texts for inspiration. Recalling the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, placing themselves in the place of Arjuna. They must not be deterred from what they know is righteous, even when faced by their own relatives, teachers, friends, and loved ones. India must not give into to the ideology of Modi and the RSS. For a nation founded on Ahinsa (non-violence), to repeat the actions of the former colonial occupiers and call it just, is to betray what India has claimed it stands for. Do not follow this Pied Piper, who will only lead you and your hard build democracy to ruin.

To the People of the World:

If the world does not stand up to Modi and his ilk now, they will be appeasing him. He is not just another populist leader trying to appeal for equitable rule, but a demagogue, embodying the rhetoric of hate and prejudice to portray minorities as Untermenschen (Sub-human). This is not a new belief, but the stated ideology of the BJP and its RSS Hindu-supremacist creed. These are the same beliefs that motivated a young Indian to take the life of Mahatma Gandhi. Now these beliefs are in charge of India and attempting to kill the India Gandhi helped build. The actions being carried out in Kashmir are merely a part of the BJP's Nazi inspired ideology. What Modi is doing in Kashmir is akin to Hitler's desire in Mein Kempf for lebensraum; to ethnically cleanse a land of its people and populate it with only his own. The world promised "Never Again", yet Modi plans to build camps for millions he no longer considers Indian citizens. Any word of descent is called "Anti-national", even if that come from an Indian Nobel laureate. Dr Amartya Sen said "I don't think ultimately you will have any resolution in Kashmir without democracy." The actions of the BJP are in direct violation of the courts of India, where in October 2015, the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir ruled that the Article 370 cannot be "abrogated, repealed or even amended." It explained that the clause (3) of the Article conferred power to the State's Constituent Assembly to recommend to the President on the matter of the repeal of the Article. Since the Constituent Assembly did not make such a recommendation before its dissolution in 1957, Article 370 has taken on the features of a "permanent provision" despite being titled a temporary provision in the Constitution. The Supreme court of India reaffirmed this is a similar opinion where it declared Article 370 has acquired a permanent status. It stated that, since the State Constituent Assembly has ceased to exist, the President of India would not be able to fulfill the mandatory provisions required for its abrogation. The world must force India to release all Kashmiri prisoners, especially those leaders that have tried to represent the people of Kashmir, despite India's efforts to suppress them with rigged elections (such as in 1987) in New Delhi's favor. India claims that its actions are to establish Law and order, then the world must demand free and fair elections under international supervision be held in Kashmir NOW. If the world does not stand with Kashmiris as the peacefully demand independence, should not be surprised if frustrated Kashmiris take up other means to defend themselves. The global community will only have themselves to blame. In the words of Former US president Kennedy, "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." The world must hold India to account for its Undemocratic actions, before their actions come into effect on 31 October 2019, or else be held in judgment for allowing another Hitler to emerge with their tacit consent. Edmund Burke put it best when he said "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

To the People of Kashmir:

While you may feel powerless, it is you the people of kashmir, that have the power to speak out to the world and demand they finally listen. You hold in your hands not just your chance for freedom, but to liberate the people of the subcontinent from the struggle over your homeland. Your leaders have tried working with the Indian authorities, drafted action plans, and signed understandings, but in the end the politicians in New Delhi have betrayed all of your good faith efforts. With India's actions the pretense of preferential protections and privileges has been removed. Even the Kashmiri policemen were stripped of their weapons before India took these actions, and in doing so showed that it India does not trust a single Kashmiri. On August 4th, Omar Abdullah tweeted, "I believe I'm being placed under house arrest from midnight tonight & the process has already started for other mainstream leaders. No way of knowing if this is true but if it is then I'll see all of you on the other side of whatever is in store. Allah save us". To which one can we must remember Surah Ar-Ra'd, verse 11; "Indeed Allah will not change the conditions of a population until they change what is in themselves." This is the time for unity and decisive action, or else the people of Kashmir will be in a similar state as the Palestinians. On 31 October 2019, Indian's actions will come into effect. You the people of Kashmir must stand united under a singular demand, Azadi. Kashmiris must demand a free and fair, international supervised election this fall to elect their own representatives in the state assembly. In this democratic way, they can show the world that the cause for freedom is the legitimate demand of all the people. The time for appeasement is over, the government in India has shown by its actions and its words that it will not respect the democratic aspirations of the Kashmir people, and are trying to build up support for their actions abroad. The peoples of the world need to know that their leaders are turning a blind eye to your plight, in their name. NOW is the time to awaken the world, and unite them, so that you may be free. The future of Kashmir rests in your hands.

The same could be said of other fascist movements.
Nazism wasn’t just Hitler, but with these kinds of organization you have to start from the top to de-radicalize the people.

There are lots of problems.yemen war was a turning point.arabs have realized that pakistan doesn't care about their cities or their security.they gave us lots of money in the past.our neutral view on Yemen war will continue to hurt us.we remained neutral because we have Shia people in our parliament.we made a big mistake.we are paying price.
Now Iran did two things.iran considers Arabs as hostile and they wanted to break pakistan Arab friendship.they successfully fooled us and now they joined hands with India against pakistan.now look at us! Totally isolated.not even China paying any attention to Kashmir.
We lost at diplomatic front and we should accept it.whether India lift curfew in Kashmir or not, ground reality will remain same.nobody can help us in our war against India.gcc helped us several times but now it's over.for iran,we sacrificed our friendship with arabs.it's all over for us now.we lost indian Kashmir.
All news related to moving this case to icj and other diplomatic effort are total waste of time.nothing is going to change.india is behaving like pakistan.we used to be very aggressive against India but I think it's time to accept reality and move on.we can still improve our relations with gcc.we must abandon iran.iran will give us nothing.it can only give us threats.our diplomats should see themselves in mirror.we have lost Kashmir.
Because I frequently visit indian defence forums, it's clear to me from day one that this aggressive indian policy is not only for Indian Kashmir but for Pakistani Kashmir as well.remember they did balakot just because they cried over pulwama.a false flag and a limited war is now a reality.a war can begin at any time.war in this situation suits India and not pakistan.they have financial resources but we don't.their aim is to connect India with Afghanistan.they can attack our Kashmir and they already have permission to attack.they always do diplomatic homework before doing anything.we must better prepare to defend ourselves.

I disagree with the OP about India stopping at LoC = IB. That was maybe in the pre Modi era but this guy is not far from Hitler in megalomania. Actually, Hitler had a lot of personal charisma and class in comparison but I digress.

Between 1971 and 1984, Pakistan and India were not in some strong conflict except Indians did see an opportunity to encircle Pakistan after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Too bad India couldn't do much because Uncle Sam had Pakistan's back that time in a strong way. But India still managed to invade a remote, hard to hold territory like the Siachen Glacier (in 1984, I think). Why was that? It's the march to the west to connect India with Central Asia for commercial purposes while also cutting off Pakistan from China and China from Gwadar! Several strategic goals met in one. That goal may have been shelved for a while under saner Indian leaders but maybe revived under Modi. Modi must be very nervous about American leaving Afghanistan on relatively friendly terms with Pakistan and so the old goal of grabbing Pakistani side of Kashmir is being revived. Megalomaniacs are like that.

As to the response... it is coming. And the global media and intellectuals are on Pakistan's side. Consider it a GIFT FROM MODI to have revived the Kashmir issue. It will be solved within next 5 years, one way or another.

It's the timing!!! And, TIME, which isn't without its MASTER, is on Pak's side!!!! Here're my points:
  • The more of the Hindutva, the more of the Sheyatin in the rawest form, the more likelihood for the Nemrut/Firaun/Ebu Jahil etc. type end games
  • Thanks GOD for Congress isn't in the power!!! They did the most harm to Pak for the best of the Brahmins, Parsis etc. were with them!!! BJP is all about ugly looking uneducated hot headed folks from lower strata!!! For a reason India is a caste based society
  • Hindutva is mad at the status quo and are impatient at breaking it!!! By playing with the LOC they've rattled a lot of other lines which will attract some "interesting" attention!!! He who stands up in anger sits down with a loss
  • 02-26 to 02-28 episode has shown they may start at their will, but they can't end in their terms!! All's well that ends well
La Galibe Illallah...

The above are all conjectures with NO EVIDENCE to back up ANY of the above claims. You speak of indian military and economic power as if it is greater than that of the Americans, Russians and Chinese. You do know that after 18 years of engaging in the WOT, the most powerful military that has EVER existed has been worn down and American power has diminished as a result. india is not even atomically comparable to america and Pakistan is MANY MORE times powerful than all of America's foes in the WOT combined. india is the biggest open sewer on the planet with the most severely malnourished and extreme poor living inside it's bordsrs:

https://blogs.worldbank.org/opendata/half-world-s-poor-live-just-5-countries

As one of the above links show, indian economic figures have been manipulated and falsified. Remember these are the same people who claimed to have killed exactly 300 terrorists in Balakot and shot down an F-16.

Also, you do know that if Pakistan went to war with india, NO-ONE would come to the aid of india and fight for them. In fact, in the long term, it would benefit both China and the West to have india destroyed. With india's growing population, they do not want india cutting an ever bigger slice of the Global economic cake. It is this PRECISE reason why the West did not stop Pakistan from becoming a nuclear weapons state like they did to Iran.

.
IMO the only option pakistan have is to play it's card wisely to cut india down to multiple countries. I know it sounds a far distant dream, but that's the only way if Pakistan have to survive. With the passage of time, with the huge economic foot print; it's inevitable that india will be more and more proactive in her hostility. And it's in India's interest to keep Pakistan engaged on multiple fronts, via terrorism from Afghanistan/iran and IOK and also economically. How Pakistan can pull this out idk, but imo that's the only and only option Pakistan have. The disintegration of India and Pakistan have to actively pursue it. Small, economically weak and internally engaged India is the only way forward.

And i am also of opinion that "Road to Kashmir is through Indian Punjab". If Pakistan wants to achieve her strategic goals in the region Indian Punjab have to be supported in their struggle for Khalistan. There are multifaceted benefits for that for Pakistan, by having local punjabi support who still have some what soft element and more ethnic/linguistic connection with Pakistan than india, will make it very difficult for India to engage Pakistan from Punjab's border. Also, they directly neighbors Kashmir, Kashmiris haven't risen up against Indians as much as they should've had, probably because they are one against many. With one more bordering state being hostile towards india will be last nail in India's coffin. Also in OP, water issue is talked about. Kashmir is indeed primary water source but runs through Indian Punjab. And that's where Pakistan shall look in to.
