Has anyone else seen these pics:

and are these MARCOS? They do look like they got good gear apart form the driver of the boat, tin hat!!! But maybe not MARCOS just regular navy?

i am not sure wh they call them MARCOS...there is another picture where some Indian commandos are reffred as Indian MARCOS....

MARCOS is short for MARINE-CAMMANDOS, they are the Indian Navy's special operations force, comparable to US Navy SEALS. Also I don't like this pic of MARCOS (above) as it makes them look really outdated, sten gun, labroom googles, tin hat etc

Really in what way, I doubt these are regular Navy personel, what unit of NAVY are these then and what attire are MARCOS given, I'm sure they have different uniforms for different occasions these could be MARCOS, look at the weapons, MP-5s and helmets- look like MARCOS to me

No, They were known to be Dadi wali fauj as The MARCOS Unit was allowed to Grow beards, Now its not followed....But still the name remains

Dadi Wali fauj, as they were the Only Army Unit whose Official attire Included Beards,Other than the Sikh regiment... And Perhaps the Only commando Unit.... But now its not followed....

terrorists Gave them the Name Magarmach as Marcos are Involved in most of the Counter terrorism operation in J&K, No one knows where they come from, clear the Area after Mission, Thats why they call them Magarmach as stealthy as a crocodile and dangerous too

And the Specific reason to grow Beards was to cover there Identity, So were allowed to grow really dense
