Indian MP says India is becoming fascist country: Speech in parliament

I liked her speech but she needs to behave more decently especially on national TV. Anyway, she can be a force to reckon with for the opposition. Problem is she speaks in English and won't be able to connect with the masses the way someone like Modi who speaks in Hindi can.
Masses are not only hindi soeajers. She strikes a chord for us non hindi speakers.

.
If only the opposition could find someone who could speak like that, in Hindi.

For Hindi oratory there is Kanhaiya Kumar.

BTW, Mohua seems a more vociferous version of Shehla Rashid.

Arnab Goswami is an indian hero for many indian pdf members but they wont speak about it.

Arnab was earlier hated by the Right-wing ethno-nationalists ( like BJP supporters ) but when he turned against the Leftist student leaders of JNU ( Jawaharlal Nehru University ), he became a hero of the same Right-wingers.

The kind of liberal debate we need in our parliament!

Your statement reminded me of the final scenes in the Hindi film Yuva, where the student leader idealist played by Ajay Devgn enters the state parliament to change the system.

Unfortunately that is the one language the connects most Indians. Why do you think Modi's Hindi speeches touch a chord with the masses ? Except for some parts of India in the extreme South, everyone else understands the language. You can't say that for any other language including English. English is a language of the classes, not the masses.

For Hindi oratory there is Kanhaiya Kumar.

Sorry to say but nobody will take Kanhaiya seriously. He will be perpetually be associated with the Bharat tere tukde honge gang.

Much of BJP's support base is among the urban masses : the college students, the IT engineers, the MBA types. And these kind of people are an Indian version of Born Again Christians.

Whenever I see TV debates on AajTak that take place with a live audience, especially youth, they clap and cheer when they think the BJP spokesperson has made a "good point" however it is far away from common sense.

It is such people who form the support base to those professional politicians who call Kanhaiya and his comrades as the Tukde tukde gang.

During the protests in 2012 in regards to the brutal gang rape and torture of Jyoti Singh in Delhi, there was a young woman who carried a poster which generally said that whether or not India remains as a single country, such crimes should stop.

Lastly, isn't there controversy about whether the "tukde tukde" slogan was shouted or not ??

The death of truth in India is largely going to go unnoticed.
