Indian military standard summarized in a 3 min video

. . . .
Wow, what a short stupid summary.
To add to all this, when he says India buys more than 50 % percent abroad, he probably things just because India has T-72s, or T-90s that they are for the most part bought off the shelf from Russia, not the case especially for the T-72. I find that hard to believe. More than 60 percent of Indias military hardware is for the most part made in India, bulk of the work is in India, except the American purchase program for the transports. However Boeing/America has to re invest a certain portion back into India.
This is perception to assume, just because its still Russian, in design, its still made in Russia. Absurd.
For instance, UK, France, still rely heavily on US technology, doesn't mean they are not great powers. Japan including in this list. Goal of make in India is to have majority of the jobs in India.
2. Commentator forgot to mention, the numerous training both the IA and the IAF does globaly, and training they provide to other nations. This is important because the Indian military personal get some decent training compared to the global average.
3rd, the biggest weakness is lack of of a number 1 for the tri services, however, the Army assumes this role automatically! remember the 2 other services are there to help the army. They do not lack strategic vision! this is design by nature by Parliament! PMO decides foreign affairs, NOT army.
