After one of his cattle ran away through the border and Mintu went to get it back, members from the Indian Khasia tribe shot him dead, local and family sources said

A Bangladeshi young man has been shot to death by Khasia tribesmen of India along Sylhet border in Gowainghat upazila after intruding into the Indian border.

The deceased, Mintu Miah, 25, was grazing his cattle around Pillar No- 1263 along the border on Wednesday morning. After a while, one of his cattle ran away through the border and when Mintu went to get it back, members from the Khasia tribe shot him dead, local and family sources said.

“Informed by his family members, we went to the spot and sent his dead body for autopsy. Officials from Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) were also informed about the matter,” said Gowainghat police station OC Hillol Roy

Seeking anonymity, an official from BGB Bichanakandi Camp said: “Our officials went to the spot to investigate the incident.”

And now that khaki'r chele maulana Ahmed Shofi of hefazat praises and lauds Hasina as the "Qoumi Ma".... This maggot Shofi was there that night when innocent people got killed.

Khaki'r chele went to bed with Hasina and forgot all about the people who responded to his call and then paid the ultimate price for it.
