SRINAGAR: Since Monday, Indian forces are fighting against suspected rebels inside the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) in a sprawling compound near a highway running by Pampore town in the held Kashmir.

An officer claimed gunshots and grenade blasts were heard from the site where the Indian forces, paramilitary soldiers and counterinsurgency police had cordoned off and encircled the government building.

Indian media reported on Wednesday that one suspected terrorist was killed while the shootout was still on.

What’s the Barkha Dutt connection?
Indian media claimed that the suspected rebels reached Srinagar through Jhelum River, which floats from Kashmir to Pakistan via boats after the Indian journalist Barkha Dutt (NDTV reporter) showed them exactly how to launch the attack.

Recently the noted Indian journalist visited Kashmir for recording a special series. However, Indian media said she later put few tweets giving apparently a hint to rebels about how water can be used for infiltration purpose.
Reports said Dutt questioned the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) officials regarding timing and specific spots for their patrolling along the Line of Control (LoC).

Indians thinks journalist facilitated assault
Locals including BJP’s Subramanian Swamy have accused Barkha Dutt of helping suspected rebels, calling her an agent.

Some even asked why the Indian journalist was allowed to visit the crucial LoC.

Barkha Dutt even tried to answer a few through the social platform of Twitter.

Few criticised her for taking up the issue of pellet-gun use against civilians in the held Kashmir.

This is not the first time that the Indian journalist has been questioned to prove her patriotism. In the past too, Dutt was labelled as a traitor and received condemnation for allegedly working against the interest of Indiahttp://arynews.tv/en/indian-journalist-barkha-dutt-slammed-for-pampore-attack/

Well, Well, Barkha never disappoints and neither the conspiracy theories around her.

.
She actually shown a detailed report of 'how to cross over' with pointing out the limitations of our border guards (that can be exploited) in that episode. Video showed the width of the river, current in the water, paucity of petrol boats, everything..... quite informative.

What did the security forces do even after that!?If someone has already reported that there are flaws in our security system, amd an attack happens exactly exploiting those flaws ,then it can sure be called failure on the part of security agencies.

.
Why was she allowed to film that episode ? with so many details ?

.
Lol stupid indians believe that the attackers traveled 100+ km from pakistan to pampore undetected

.
Regular Indian non sense aside, what was the significance of this building? Entrepreneurship Development Institute OR RAW undercover station?

Nope, she didn't inform anything new that the security forces don't know, there will always be limitations in terms of terrain, equipment, logistics, manpower, etc., the point is not to advertise it.
