I am rajput i know it from traditions .In olden times rajput kings used to cross border of enemy kings on dusserah day .

I read on the Internet that it was because of Rajput rules, rituals and traditions, other armies who were aware of such rules, rituals and traditions, took advantage of these to attack the Rajputs.
