Yes, we lost. In the first place why did we let it happen? Trusting Pakistan is worst thing Indian Amy did. I hope this is a lesson to our strategy planners and armed forces in future. Never trust Pakistan ever

Sometimes dumb things happen for good. We trusted China in 1962, and we lost. Learning from the fiasco, we invested in our armed forces to that extent that we are considered one of the leading forces in the world.

Same in case of the Kargil. I am certain we learned something. This can be seen in our Army insistence on not withdrawing from Siachen.
