That's a hogwash according to terms agreed upon by both Bharat and Pakistan, helicopters are not supposed to come within one kilometre of the Line of Control and fixed-wing aircraft within 10 km.12.7 can max hit target out at 2500m with effective range upto 2000m,hitting rotor blades using 12.7 seems far fetched.Bharatis aren't fools to fly chopper that close to effective kill zone of PA AA's.
On top of that GOC was probably visiting some brig HQ,which is well beyond range of such weapons.

DG(ISPR) has mentioned Indian heli crashes due to "so called" technical faults. It may imply that crash in Poonch was not due to technical fault.
