Indian Army Para troopers hit an NSCN-K camp in Nagaland
In Nagaland, Indian Army Para troopers this morning hit an NSCN-K camp located inside Myanmar, near Throilu village of Mon district. no casualty on either side reported so far.
Our Mon AIR Correspondent reports that the para commando crossed the international border and went about two and a half kilometre from the international border pillar no 151 at Chenmoho village and attacked the NSCN-K men manning a check post.
Firing reportedly lasted for about three hours; however no casualty on either side is being reported so far. Superintendent of Police Mon, other Police officials, President, Konyak Union, Assistant Commandant Village Guard and SDO Chen were reported to be camping at Chenmoho till the time of filing this report.

GUWAHATI: Commandos of 12 Para exchanged a barrage of gunshots with militants of the SS Khaplang faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-K) inside Myanmar in the wee hours of Friday.
According to official sources, there was no casualty in the gunbattle that began at 3 am and lasted for about two hours.
“The encounter took place beyond Thorloi, which is a Myanmar village two km from the Indian side of the international border in Nagaland’s Mon district. There was no casualty in the firefight,” Mon Superintendent of Police, Yangba Konyak, told Express.
“I myself have seen the commandos when they returned. There were around 30 of them, which makes a platoon,” he said.
“I don’t know of casualties, if any, on the side of NSCN-K,” he added.
The NSCN-K claimed that it had eliminated five to six commandos in the incident.
“The 12 Para commandos had intruded one and a half hour long walking distance into Myanmar. The commandos were first spotted by our army manning the forward security post and five to six commandos were gunned down,” the NSCN-K told Express in an email statement.
“The advancing commandos were pinned down and the rest ran helter-skelter in commotion. The random and blank retaliation proved futile because of our well-defended higher position. The dispersed commandos tried to regroup to counter-attack but were pursued on their heels by our army forcing the retreat,” the statement said.
The NSCN-K also claimed that the commandos, who survived the attack, had carried back the slain and injured colleagues on foot till the border. But the Mon district police chief said he had not seen the commandos carrying any bodies.
Last year, the NSCN-K had ambushed an Army convoy in Manipur’s Chandel district, killing 18 personnel and injuring several others.

They should have made their propaganda a little bit more believable.....
In last Myanmar attack there was an Mi-24 with incendiary ammo doing the rounds along with the paratroopers. But then rumors are that Myanmar was told after the operation was over...

The outfit walked out of the ceasefire pact after it was alleged that the area along Indo-Myanmar border under their control was turning into a ‘safe-zone’ for militants of the Ulfa faction led by Paresh Barua, the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Songbijit), and armed groups such as the People’s Liberation Army of Manipur.
Police say the NDFB-S was responsible for an attack in Assam’s Kokrajhar town earlier this month that killed 14 people.

See,Myanmar's role of supporting Indian Insurgents are kind of shady.They officially doesn't support them,and they don't have control much of the land of their country as well,which these Insurgent groups exploit.But from time to time,they did break these insurgent bases.
India is probably own with NOC from Myanmar.Or at max,it is probably Hammer and Anvil.They deploy to guard the perimeter to cut off exit routes while Indian forces strike.

Thank you for the information. The main reason I asked this question is because India will be receiving the Apache E, and I'm wondering if that went in, to provide fires support, the rebels wouldn't be able to recover.

Sources said senior government officials have reached the spot to take stock of the incident.
National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Khaplang) is a banned militant outfit which last March abrogated a 14-year-old ceasefire with the central government.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is looking for the chief of NSCN (Khaplang) as well as its military commander in connection with the killing of 18 soldiers by the group on June 4, 2015.
The NIA has announced Rs seven lakh reward for any information leading to the arrest of the outfit’s chairman SS Khaplang and Rs 10 lakh for Niki Sumi, who heads the military wing of the group.
