NEW DELHI- Airports in India are on high alert after the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi came under terror attack late Sunday with fresh firing reported today morning.
"All airports are on high alert in the wake of the Karachi incident," India's news channels flashed. India has 125 airports including 11 international airports, eight custom airports, 81 domestic airports and 25 civil enclaves at military airfields. Pakistan officials have also claimed that no airplane was destroyed. Tehreek-e-Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack, according to reports. Karachi is the largest and most populous metropolitan city of Pakistan and its main seaport and financial centre.
