Turkey, India would benefit from improved ties: Turkish envoy
Turkey's envoy to India, Fırat Sunel, has called for improved and multifaceted relations between Ankara and New Delhi.Turkey and India are rising...www.dailysabah.com
No more Pakistani-Turkish brotherhood?
My friend, in the world of politics and politicians there is no brotherhood.Realism is a far cry in this thread borne out of paranoia and jealousy
My friend, in the world of politics and politicians there is no brotherhood.
However, Turkey has been a useful partner of Pakistan and some Pakistanis view Turkey as a brotherly country. That's cool and i belive its more of a people to people feeling having less to do with governments.
Don't know about the OP but at the very least i know your agenda well.Turkey and Pakistan enjoy state to state relations beyond internal and external politics. Be it wave after wave of secularist dictators or instances of democratic thought.
Driving a wedge between what many consider as unbreakable bonds is a petty tactic which gets laughed off by people and governments alike.
Despite all this, Pakistan has always maintained significant maturity when it comes to such spoilers. Something lacking from your countrymen masquerading as Germans, Americans or Brits.

Btw, Pakistan Turkish relations are good for regional cooperation.
Pakistani-Turkish brotherhood is based on religion while Indo-Turkish relations are just Economical and Business related.

Turkey embraced Israel because that made good business sense. Most of the Muslim countries are doing the same. They talk big when it comes to talking but when it is action time they display their true intent.Turkey has trade with India but still chose to support Pakistan stance on political matters instead of India and yes Turkey will help Pakistan and is helping them as we speak.

In this changing world and Turkey trying to reset its ties due to friction with NATO and US, anything is possible.
Indian foreign ministry has been deft and pragmatic in this regard.
If Turkey changes it’s track then that wouldn’t be a surprise.
It still might talk big in supporting Pakistan and it’s causes. That might be just the talk but not the walk.
