Can't we have deal of Tejas, Akash and other defence products or is it risky.

Tejas r under development ans still there r questions on the success of the project.

Akash is a good misssile but technology would be leaked if goes to some friend of Pakistan.

. .
The word is "continue". How India has assisted Vietnam in its millitary modernisation in past and what are the future plans?

leaked?
the technology is in the radar. and the Chinese have similar radars. So its not a problem.
I would speculate that Veitnam would be a prime place to marker NAG, Akash and eventually the Tejas, when they're is no American engine involved.
As far as a mbt, i don't think Arjun will be a good fit with their strategy.
They're best solution for a mbt is the t-90,t-80 or even AK. It doesn't matter. They need something affordable with a gun. The Arjun is 4-6 mill compared with the others at 2-3 mill.
If they ever bought the Arjun, they would lack the guns. The Arjun was designed for fast thrusts with high survivability. Only problem with the Arjun as the IA found out. Its expensive, and can't be helped. So you pick your moments.
I guess India could also market the PJ-10, since Vietnam doesn't have access to Glasnoss.

Good moves by GoI and the Govt. of Viet Nam. The relationship with Viet Nam goes back a long way. In 1960, an Indian Naval Fleet on a Far Easter cruise had called in Viet Nam. The then Fleet Commander (a relative) had met with President Ho Chi Minh and the redoubtale Gen. Giap then. And the relationship has continued since.

We should sell our Arjun, Dhruv, Nag ATGM....we should also start marketing upcoming choppers LUH, LCH...
