Reinstating A370 as it was is political suicide for any political party in India.

If they don't revoke article 370 then India is heading for a disaster. Civil war in Kashmir and angry 300 Million Muslims in India, add the Dalit angst and Sikhs, Christians and other minorities then the end of India is near.

India has not only crossed Chinese claim line on South Bank of Pangang Tso ...but also crossed Indian max claim line in 7 places on South Bank of Pangang Tso.. right uptill..where Finger 8 will correspond too on South Bank.. surrounding entire Chushul bowl.

Article 370 is never coming back.

But China will withdraw from finger 4 on North Bank of Pangang Tso..as it is strategic dead end.. because Finger 4 ..juts right out into the Pangang Tso lake. ..There is no way for Chinese to move forward towards finger 3...if they wanted too. There is not enough space between spur of the mountain and the lake..for a motorable road to be built.

In return India will have to vacate ..Chinese area captured by India in Aug..on South Bank.

The area captured by India on South bank Pangang Tso ..is strategically very important for China..as it surrounds the entire Chushul bowl ..and just few kilometer from Chushul bowl lies ..China's main Xingang - Tibet national highway that they built in 1950s (one of the reasons for 1962 war).

Kashmir is most peaceful now in last 30 years....it was never this peaceful.
There had been violence for 30 years...kashmiris were anyway not satisfied with the privileges they were provided with....india did not do anything that spoiled the peace in kashmir as there was no peace anyway...our soldiers were being killed mercilessly every month....all that has drastically come down ..
Many people thought kashmir would erupt in fire when 370 was revoked but thanks to amit and modi's planning everything went off peacefully.

This is a hard one to answer, I think they will not, but, if they wish to see some level of peace then they will have to.
No peace will come until the full resolution of the Kashmir dispute. But, as things stand the last 70 years will feel a lot more peaceful, then the next 70 years.
At least with the restoration, I think the pro India political parties will have something to sell. otherwise they will never be able to face the Kashmiri people with dignity. And, in the long run, more and more people will turn against India. It is easy to control the body, but not the mind.

Even the older Abdullah Says at least 100,000 Kashmiris are ready to come out to the streets when the lockdown is lifted, per his recent interview with Indian media. All these pro-India parties have lost credibility unless they can at least deliver back 370/35A and statehood.

I keep hearing the figure of 300 million Muslims in India, sometimes I have 250million.

With respect, where do these imaginary figures come from?

If you look at historical data, and modern census figures, it is around 200 million, and it makes sense, i have looked at figures pre 1947 and after, I have found 200 million is reflective of reality.
