Both countries are trying to make Brahmos with superior fuel and higher speed. This will increase range also. The target of speed is to take it to mach 5 in current version. That should increase the range also. 800 KM to 1000 KM is very much likely.

When we decided to place Brahmos in Arunachal Pradesh chinese daily wrote that it has increased the threat to chinese assets in Tibet. However Brahmos suffers from a constrain of range. Now the range constrain is also gone. We can strike any chinese assets in Tibet with Brahmos and cut Tibet off with few strikes of Brahmos.
