The "1967 Chola War" is a fabricated incident only ever found in Hindu school textbooks. The same textbooks that deny the Aryan invasion and conquest of South Asia, and insist instead that the indigenous people of ancient India were masochistic enough to impose the brutal caste system on themselves, rather than being forcibly imposed by invaders

In 1960, China was in the midst of its most devastating famine. It might surreal to us in the face of the modern reality, but back then, living standards were probably higher in India than China.

In fact, in the period from both of our attaining independence in the late 40s until the 70s, India was more developed than China as it had inherited a lot of valuable British colonial infrastructure and institutions, especially in railways, whereas China was devastated by civil war and had to rebuild from scratch. But India stagnated and squandered its head-start due to Hindu complacency, Hindu indolence, Hindu profligacy, etc, which led to the "Hindu rate of growth", whereas China worked assiduously and tirelessly to reverse course and put development first. Now the results speak for themselves.

To be fair, the PLA has never lost a war.

• Korean War - The PVA pushes back UN troops from the Chinese border on the Yalu all the way back to South Korea
• 1962 War - The PLA smacks India in the face
• 79' Sino-Vietnamese War - The Chinese capture 3 Vietnamese provincial capitals despite extreme shortcomings (e.g. obsolete equipment, no ranks, no air or naval support) and staunch Vietnamese resistance

Yes but it is still surprising nonetheless. India's culture is completely different than that of China's ... too much of a stretch.

To be fair, the PLA has never lost a war.

• 79' Sino-Vietnamese War - The Chinese capture 3 Vietnamese provincial capitals despite extreme shortcomings (e.g. obsolete equipment, no ranks, no air or naval support) and staunch Vietnamese resistance

Is there a document of surrender for any of these wars? I know China made rapid gains against India in 1962 and could have walked into NEFA but even quickly withdrew back as Kennedy sent military help. But the other 2 wars - did any country actually sign a Treaty of Surrender?
