India Rising? Maybe Not.

.
That's an article about unemployment in India.
And its labour force participation rate is indeed a big problem, much lower than the world average. As everyone knows too many young people are out of work cause instability in public order. This makes the rise of India more difficult.

Besides I can't understand why the author of the article calls China India's eternal rival.
At present, China and India are at different stages of development, and many Chinese businessmen are also investing in India, the government has no objection to them.

. .
Under Modi India is reversing all the economic goals it had achieved under Manmohan Singh. Economic Growth is low. Unemployment is all time high and demonetization and other policies backfired. Plus internal divisions growing.
In your dream.

. . . .
india is rising but in all the wrong ways...she is rising in fascism, she is rising in poverty, she is rising in fundamentalism, she is rising in unemployment. if you think about it, it makes sense. fascism and fundamentalism will only get the needed ground support if the masses are unemployed and poor. modi et al will blame all the economic woes and problems on muslim indians and Pakistan and the starving masses will gobble it up...

.
It's election time, it was natural the growth would tank a bit.

Just because China is doing great, doesn't mean India isn't developing.
Even current growth rates are reasonable, looking at the global scenario.
Poverty is on a steep decline. Middle class is rising. High net worth individuals are growing at one of the fastest rates in the world.

I guess we have to deal with a lot of criticism, till we cross the middle income label. That looks like 2 decades ahead.

Ya.. just because you hate it and you say so !! Lol

Im sorry to burst your Bollywood bubble, but thats the truth. Nobody gives a EFF about your bharat mata!!

If you dont like it here, you can always leave and go to that bharat ratsh!t forums of yours and vomit your hate for Pakistan like your countrymen do over there.

India is growing but its no where near China and India is not even close to being a regional power let alone a supa powa!!
Ya a country is not a regional power so what if its GDP is 4× bigger then the combine GDP of all other countries in the region Bangladesh (Second Biggest economy in South Asia) + Pakistan +Sri Lanka + Bhutan + Maldives + Nepal + Afghanistan

Yes, if the case of China is removed, the development of India is obvious to all. In fact, Chinese society also has some of the above points. In general, India is a fast-changing country in the world.

Growth of 6.8 % for 2018-19 is not bad . It is decent .
