In the last two decades, the world’s most wanted terrorists have found “succor and sustenance” in Pakistan which has earned the reputation of being a “global epicenter of terrorism”, India said in response to Pakistan’s allegations at the UN Human Rights Council (HRC).
“Members will recognise the irony of a nation that has established a well-earned reputation of being a global epicenter of terrorism holding forth on human rights,” the Permanent Representative of India to the UN offices at Geneva Ajit Kumar told the HRC.
“For the last two decades, the most wanted terrorists of the world have found succor and sustenance in Pakistan,” he added.
The fundamental reason for disturbances in parts of Jammu and Kashmir in India is cross-border terrorism “aided and abetted by Pakistan”, India said speaking at the general segment of the ongoing 34th session of the HRC.

The Pakistani law minister had earlier in the day had said that the “Indian claim” that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is about terrorism is a false narrative and a “desperate attempt” to divert the attention of the international community from grave human rights violations being committed in the state.
“I would also like to point out that Pakistan’s unwarranted references to UN Security Council resolutions are grossly misleading as Pakistan was required to vacate parts of the state of Jammu and Kashmir under its illegal and forced occupation,” Kumar said.
Additionally, India exercising its right to reply (RoR) said that it is “unfortunate that Pakistan’s trust in the methods of terror are so deep that it does not hesitate from using them on its own people in Baluchistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well as the tribal areas in its northwest”.
“In Pakistan, we are dealing with a state that regards the use of terrorism as a legitimate instrument of statecraft and provides sanctuary to UN-designated terrorists,” Alok R. Jha, counsellor at the Indian mission to the UN offices at Geneva said.
“We, once again, ask Pakistan to stop inciting and supporting violence and terrorism in any part of India and refrain from meddling in our internal affairs in any manner.”
“We also call upon the Council to urge Pakistan to fulfill its obligation under UN Security Council resolutions to vacate illegal occupation of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir,” Jha said.
India notes with “regret” that the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation has used the HRC to comment on the internal matters of the country. “Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and the OIC has no locus standi in matters concerning India's internal affairs,” India said. Pakistan, using its RoR, asked India how it justifies the “use of pellet guns that blinded scores of innocent civilians, including women and children.” India has deliberately increased tension at the Line of Control committing more than 350 ceasefire violations in 2016, Pakistan alleged, and “in stark violations of UN principles India continues to interfere in the internal affairs of Pakistan.”
“Dossiers of Indian subversive activities in Balochistan and apprehended RAW agent Kulbhushan Yadav have been handed over to the UN Secretary General,” Saima Saleem, First Secretary at the Pakistani mission to the UN offices at Geneva said.
“Balochistan is Pakistan whereas Jammu and Kashmir, on the other hand, is an internationally recognised dispute under many UN resolutions,” Saleem said.
“India’s claim of democracy falls short of the ugly reality manifest in the country,” Pakistan alleged.

Police don't wait for the order from Modi. In fact most of the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists who gets killed are in random encounters. We want to arrest them, but alas they start firing and sh*t.
