LAHORE - Jamaat ud Daawa (JuD) Chief Hafiz Saeed has cautioned against an alleged plan by India to make Pakistan barren by impeding the flow of water in the rivers feeding Pakistan and urged the government to hold immediate dialogues with India. Saeed made this statement while addressing a meeting of party workers in Sialkot and Sahiwal on Monday during Iftar, he said that the government should hold serious dialogues with India, over this crucial issue which would be devastating for the agro-based economy of Pakistan.
He was of the view that friendship with India would never be successful. The distribution and flow of water from India to Pakistan is governed under the Indus water treaty, however, India has sought to build dams on the rivers on its side of the border, raising concerns for Pakistan, which had previously taken its neighbour to the international court of arbitration. The JuD Chief said that the international community could never ignore sacrifices rendered by the people of Indian administered Jammu and Kashmir for their freedom from India. He said that the sun of Kashmiri freedom will soon rise and the sacrifices of thousands of Kashmiris would bear fruit.
He expressed complete solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian administered Jammu and Kashmir. He also expressed grave concern over the rising human rights violations, custodial killings and genocide of innocent Kashmiris by the Indian Army. He was of the view that these atrocities were enough to spur the international community into action. He also urged the world community to use its influence to globally pressurise India to halt inhuman practices against residents of Kashmir. He spoke about DPC’s stance to agitate against the recently restored NATO supply line through Pakistan. Criticising the Pakistan People’s Party-led government for reopening the NATO supply routes to Afghanistan, Saeed said that the DPC would continue its protests against the decision.

Such a man of reason and logic this chap is.

we should dump toxic poisons in the rivers as all rivers in pakistan orignate from india.

starve the pakistanis then all the pakistanis would have left to eat is grass.

How would grass grow if the waters are toxic?

This is really a very old story.

what exactly are these pics supposed to signify?

Gross mismanagement of resources by all successive Pakistani government and its people. They can't find money to build dams (but they have for many other stuff), and public keep fighting for their respective provinces right to water. After they face something bad from mother nature they will blame India for it so every one get some point to speak.

Let them cry and fill their river with water...the fact is that ....India never stopped water even in war time also.....

Last time they suffered from flood and now drought, and every time India is to be blamed..
Why not hafiz start a new organization which can dig a canal from China to pakistan, it can help improve his impression on world..
This ****** material can't think of doing good things, this guy can force young pakistani to take ak-47 in hand but not any agricultural tool to help pakistan..
And even after all this the holy people gives him publicity...pathetic
