NEW YORK: India is "not forthcoming" in resuming comprehensive dialogue with Pakistan and such an attitude is "impeding" prospects of normalization of bilateral relations, Pakistan's envoy to the UN has said.

Pakistan's permanent representative to the UN ambassador Maleeha Lodhi told a group of students and faculty members from the US Army War College last week that despite a positive start following the coming to power of the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India suspended talks between the two countries on "flimsy grounds and set unacceptable pre-conditions" for their revival.

According to a news release by the Pakistan mission at the UN, Lodhi said in spite of Pakistan's call to resume broad-based, comprehensive dialogue, "India was still not forthcoming".

"This attitude was impeding prospects of normalization between the two countries," the release said.

Lodhi said that defeating terrorism, growing the economy and building a peaceful neighbourhood were among Pakistan's top priorities, including promoting peace and security in Afghanistan and normalizing relations with India on the basis of resolution of outstanding disputes.
"These national priorities frame our international diplomacy and our foreign engagements," she said.
Lodhi further said one of Pakistan's key priorities was regional connectivity and integration and cited the connectivity project with China linking the two countries through an economic corridor.
"The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor that would link Pakistan to Central Asia and the Eurasian landmass will not be confined to China and Pakistan but will be win-win for the entire region," the release said.

.
I am personally glad pakistan pulled out of the talks.

Now we don't have to waste time pretending we are not at war. Time to strengthen our covert action and free balochistan and sindh and seal our borders and make pakistan pay for the 5 layer lock.

Tap the Indus water and decrease its flow.

Whenever, we resume talks, Pathankots occur, resolutions against terrorists are vetoed, they open sharia courts, do propaganda rallies,
finally, India is declared as promoter of terrorism (with whom it has been fighting alone for 40+ years), all attacks are called false flags.
RSS, BJP workers who involve in rescue operations without invitation, are first donors of blood to victims, who don't blast themselves or behead people; get metaphor of saffron terrorists.

Back in the real world, India created the LTTE who then went on to invent suicide bombings.
So India is directly involved in increasing terrorism in the world.

Either Pakistanis are stupid or they think everyone else is!

This "diplomat" of theirs think that no one knows that it is Pakistan which has cancelled talks. No doubt Pakistani diplomatic corps is nor respected on international stage. They tell white lies (another reason being foreign policy not being in complete control of Foreign ministry, which reduces respect for diplomats in their host country) on international stage.

.
I thought it was Pakistan who cancelled the talks this time.....

By the way there was statement from Pak that the dialogues are not stopped.....

Confusion at its best!!!

.
Ah the genocidal drivel

Which part of my post was genocidal ? :cheesy:

Back in the real world, India created the LTTE who then went on to invent suicide bombings.
So India is directly involved in increasing terrorism in the world.

LOL....... in which "real world" ? your parallel universe ?

LTTE was formed after Sri Lanka refused to provide equal opportunity to its Tamil Citizens to study in universities and practised discrimination against it Tamil population.

All they ever wanted was an equal opportunity to study at their university of choice in Sri Lanka. To live a life of dignity as an EQUAL citizen of Sri Lanka.

The first armed uprising was inspired by Communism and Soviet Russia and not India :cheesy: The LTTE started out as an political party, then morphed into a Communist Revolution and then was labelled a "terrorist organization".

Thankfully there was no american "rambo" to create another Taliban.

.
Pakistan needs to ramp up it's institution which trains these brainless diplomats, they have failed their whole nation many times on International and Regional Forums. Are these diplomats selected based on some qualifying exams or brinkmanship ??

Which part of my post was genocidal ? :cheesy:
The part where you were masturbating to cutting off the rivers and thus murdering hundreds of millions of people.

Non of what you said has addressed my point of India creating LTTE, a terrorist group that invented suicide bombings.
But you internet Hindus believe in revisionist history where India has done nothing wrong ever and Pakistan is the biggest boogie man on earth.

The cognitive dissonance you people show would put serial killers to shame.

Pakistan asking for "comprehensive dialogue' is like an accused asking a magistrate to negotiate. It can only happen if they plea bargain.

The part where you were masturbating to cutting off the rivers and thus murdering hundreds of millions of people.

I have asked to tap the Indus to reduce its water levels, not cut off the river.

I take it that your limited IQ prevents you from either reading correctly or understanding what you read ?

No need to kill millions of pakistanis, just the need to reduce them to a miserable existence so that they worry more about the next drink of water than sending terrorists into the world. Especially India.

I have clearly addressed your point and proved that India DID NOT CREATE LTTE.

They were created from the practised discrimination in SL and inspiration of communist revolution. Neither of which came from India.

Its your inability to understand what you read that is at fault here.

I am least interested in your opinion on "internet hindus". So don't waste my time sharing it.

You must realize that opinion of terrorists, terrorist supporters or terrorist sympathisers carry no weight in the world. Least of all with Indians.

Will talk
Won't talk
Will talk
Wont talk
Will talk
Wont talk

Make up your mind. This is getting silly.

So India is directly involved in increasing terrorism in the world.

Acts like Suicide bombings do not need to be invented. They are the result of extreme indoctrination by those with demented mindsets.

Just for the record, the world first saw suicide bombing in form of Kamikaze pilots.

Actually the first ever documented suicide bomber was a Russian who used strapped dynamite to his body to assassinate Tzar Alexander II in the 19th century.

There's a bit of trivia for you. :p:
