I know that people (Not only Pakistanis, but even Europeans etc.) are saying "Look there's too much poverty" etc. "and they spend each year billions and billions in weapons".
These people are acting as if India was spending 100% of their state budget to Defence,India is spending large amount of money on buying weapons as they are spending a lot fo money for education, fight against poverty, improve the infrastructures...... For exemple over the five next years,India will spend 137$ billions to improve the rail network.

We could also say to Pakistan why such amounts of money are spent on defence instead of spending it wisely and stop depending on other countries for the local development/aid.

But yet again i am nobody to say what should Pakistan does with their money.

Sir there is no need to explain or justify,
We know what we need and what we don't.
We don't give ratass to a Pakistani rant crying for our wellbeing, except for their well known business of spreading terrorism
Developed countries are in a position to lecture us about our poverty and social problems, but a Pakistani :omghaha:

.
Your Pakistan spends far more per capita on weapons.

Their literacy rate is slipping in this day and age

Their infant mortality rate is 75% higher than India

They score lower on hunger index than India

Now go post the same crap on all and sundry Pakistani weapons procurement threads or GTFO!

This forum has gone to the dogs. Every single india defence thread has the very first or second post by a Pakistani butthurt posting some off topic crap. This is because Mods obviously not only condone this they encourage it as I have cited many times recently. And they want us to contribute positively to this intellectually substandard parochial tamasha.
Don't you know,Pakistan is a super rich country.

Ah, Monsieur........ it is just that PDF sees some Extremistly Charitable Instincts; like the ones that drive mega-charitable people such as Hafizzzz Saeed, among some people here..... when they easily overlook that money spent on Tactical Nukes and other such "Atmi Bums" can easily be spent instead on eradicating Polio or educating women :D
But I have no reason to dish out such free, stupid and unwanted advice...... because people like that are not a member of my family.

increase in excise duty on fuel to correct the loss making balance sheets of OMC's and weak rupee are two main cause of fuel prices not falling in Bharat . moreover it is only 5 % fall in oil prices when the weakness of rupee against dollars is accounted for .

C'est vrai mon ami :D

Last year the total govt spending of India was 600 billion USD (more than twice entire Pakistan GDP).

The defense budget was 45 - 50 billion USD.

i guess u cudnt understand wat i was asking
The policy is on and working.
The Defense industry is being opened to private companies and private manufacturing is increasing (including in defense)

It would take a decade for the full effects of the policy to come to fruition.
A small example of the changes already happening in India's defense sector:

Defence exports by private sector increase six-fold after policy changes - The Economic Times

We cant blame them bro.
They still thinks India is still same like that of 80's.
We spend a lot for military but in GDP % very less than what we had been spend during 80s and early decades.
They are blind enough to not see the development in India.

Keep buying insane amounts of weapons. Who cares about the over 600 MILLION people who don't have proper bathrooms to use, and beds to sleep on. While the Indian Government stacks up weapons in billions from all over.

It never makes any sense to me, buying weapons is fine, but the deals signed this years, if you minus two of them, would've provided close to $ 8 - 10 billion for public welfare!! And $ 8-10 billion can help millions of poor people!
a **** burning under fake US flags..
on topic !!! our money our policy its none of your business.. take care of your beloved pakistan who spends much more than gdp..
