As I said Indians and Bangladeshis are one people in two countries. Thank you India for your friendly gesture. This special health scheme should be for all Bangladeshis. :)

The government of India has initiated a new scheme for providing medical treatment to 100 Muktijoddha patients every year.

The High Commission of India said under the initiative the freedom fighter patients will be provided free medical treatment in Indian Armed Forces hospitals.

The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has partnered with Indian High Commission to select deserving patients covering all districts of Bangladesh.

This year also, 100 Mukti joddhas will be selected and given treatment in Indian Armed Forces Hospitals.

The ministry has posted an advertisement on their official website www.molwa.gov.bd.

Applicants are advised to visit the website and submit their application to the civil surgeon’s office in their respective district as per the prescribed application format before Aug 22.

The Indian army fought along with Bangladeshi freedom fighters in 1971 war of independence from Pakistan.

Ahh! Only if the “Last Afgans/BLAs/TTPs etc.” could be transformed into the “Last Mujibs”!!! Not all flowers bloom the same!! Hard lands of Baluchistan or Afganistan is no substitute for the swamps of the East Pak....

Right, i am actually disappointed that India has put a ceiling on the number of freedom fighters allowed for free treatment. EVERY single one of them should be eligible for free first-class treatment facilities as our esteemed state guests. I hope this is only a pilot project and the scope would be expanded in coming years.

There should be low cost treatment for all Bangladeshis. India should introduce such scheme for general Bangladeshis. Our people have extreme faith in Indian treatment. There is a saying. We have faith in Allah and Indian doctors. ROFL.... :enjoy:

Word! Back in the mid 2000s during my posting in a lower Assam town bordering BD saw first hand proof of that. Your patients had to cross over to India owing to the lack of proper facilities in your side. What i observed was that they were simple minded individuals and would place us in the same pedestal as God, something which both irked and embarrassed me back then as it made the job harder.

It would be nice if India take these beghairat freedom fighters . They may be Bangladeshi by birth but they are Bharti by soul.

He is a well wisher of Bd. He despise bharati chamachagiri. That’s all. Are you a Bharti chamcha?

. .
He is a well wisher of Bd.
So in order to be a well wisher of Bangladesh one must be the hater of not only the hater of Mujib family , but also someone must hate an unborn baby of Mujib family ?

Calling Bangladeshis as Indian termite because they did not come to street for BNP , are they the well wishers of Bangladesh ? Well then in both cases there is nothing I can say. You are at a liberty to consider anyone as the well wisher of Bangladesh who's point of view suits you .
He despise bharati chamachagiri. Are you a Bharti chamcha?
It depends . If you believe that peoples who do not hate Mujib family and specially it's unborn baby , are Bharati chamchas by default , then yes I am one of them . Otherwise not!

Was the payment not enough? Paid mercenaries only get paid, maybe they were unhappy. By the way dont whine when we provide health facility to freedom fighters in kashmir

Pakistanis seek quality healthcare in India, Kashmiris must follow in their footsteps, right?

Just ones who need transplant coz organs available in india. Kashmir have shown what they want. Isnt it evident? Or maybe u close ur eyes.
