Where is my dishonesty in this. I am sticking by my words India is killing Naga in the name of forest conservation. Why are there no forest conservation like Assam being done in the Rajistan area or else where. This is a front face of Indian Gov to do Israel style ethnic cleansing. Indian Gov are committing genocide.

Because for one, rajasthan is mostly a bloody desert!
Have you completely lost it? You're making ridiculous claims and making up theories now. It's useless talking to you. The sad part is, I can't tell if you're playing dumb.

So India is not killing Naga people of India?

So India is not killing Naga people of India?

Not in the name of forest/wildlife conservation, and yes if they are armed against the state.

Here's some more "ethnic cleansing" for you, this time in Kenya!

Seems this has become fashionable to suppress freedom fighters under the garb of animal conservation and falsely labeling them "poachers"

Facts:
A century ago, kazhiranga had only a handful of one horned rhinos.

Now the park hosts 2400 rhinos, about 2/3rd of the worldwide rhino population!

Indian conservation efforts are working and I'm proud of india for doing something right!

This bugger is a known troll and flame baiter. He is probably an unemployed bum and spends his all his waking hours on PDF making up horse shyte stories and passes them of as some random weird kind of madrasah logic.

Don't feed this chap .. in the words of George Bernard Shaw ----

"I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it."

For the rest view BBC documentary. It will show the true face of Indian Gov snatching land in the name of forest conservation and killing civilians. The documentary shows 10 years old being killed and shot in name of forest conservation. The documentary is still on air in south Asia region tune into BBC.

you have two choices -
be lax and allow poaching
or
be aggressive and eliminate poaching

BTW what do you Pakistanis know about forests and wildlife ??

So killing Naga becomes justified in the name of anti poaching.

.
this article lost its legitimacy when it said nagas were targetted in rhino sanctuaries. there are only a few rhino sanctuaries in assam, that too, all near and around kamrup district (which is far away from naga borders, way far).

So killing Naga becomes justified in the name of anti poaching.
there are no nagas in kaziranga or pabitora or manas. period.

India's rhino protectors are challenging views of conservation works

The BBC feature shows park rangers who have been given the license to “shoot-on-sight”, a power they have used with deadly effect. In 2015 more than 20 poachers were killed – more than the numbers of rhino poached that year.

The programme accuses the rangers of extra-judicial killings of suspected rhino poachers. This resonates with a wider trend in the use of violence in defence of the world’s protected areas and the growing use of military surveillance technologies to support the efforts of conservation agencies.

In India, the Forest Department, which is responsible for the protection of wildlife sanctuaries and national parks, has always been a “uniformed” service. Rangers wear military-style khakis, are allowed to carry arms, and have powers to prosecute offenders. Recently, the government allowed them to use drones as an anti-poaching measure in Kaziranga.

To justify such escalation and its talk of a “war” against poaching, the government cites the growing power and sophistication of the crime syndicates involved in the illegal wildlife trade. However, as with all wars, a serious conflict over rhinos risks collateral damage. The worry is that increased militarisation is not conducted within strict legal limits or subject to judicial scrutiny. The BBC alleges that such checks and balances were not in place in Kaziranga.

But actually in the cover of forest conservation and anti poaching campaign India is killing civilians who are in a constant struggle to get freedom from India. In forest conservation program the sects being targeted are the Naga People of India these ethnic groups want independence from India and have set up their freedom fighting groups. United Liberation Front of Assam, Nagalim and Tripura are the groups being targeted by the Indian Gov and India seems to be on the path of slow ethnic cleansing of the Naga people of India.
Have some shame. Dont be so low that you have to doctor an article to feel good.

If this has helped in conservation of nature and other animal species, then I am for it...

.
for a country that has 3% forest cover and no wildlife worth mentioning spare us the lectures

Given their track record on "protecting" the houbara bustard, don't expect much from them in terms of understanding the concept of wildlife conservation.

But I can see less Rhino dead and many more humans dead. Those are are humans being killed in the name to save animals.

Poachers by species are humans but not necessarily humane.

The last thing we need is to listen to BBC, from a country which mass murdered civilians across all continents of the world for over 300 years.

Asiatic Rhinos are extremely endangered and thanks to the demand from east asian countries for their horns, they get killed or are maimed brutally without any respect for their feeling.

Shoot at sight is the perfect solution for this.

TO hell with poachers.

If they don't behave like humans, they won't be treated like humans.

Kaziranga sanctuary is not in Nagaland.

Some people here have a really miserable geography.

Let's not start dwelling into stupid conspiracy theories of 'evil yindoos and joos' here at least.

Is that even a justification? When a rhino is killed, it is not killed by one person (poacher). They roam in groups of 3-4. Also, the number of rhinos which have been killed in so many years runs in hundreds and thousands. The drastic reduction in these killing in recent years in attributed because of the strict action taken by IFS (indian forest service rangers). Once the situation is normal with no danger to the lives of rhinos, this action can be withheld.

There is a reason why India, despite being home to 1.3 Billion people, is also home to both lions and tigers in the wild. The ONLY country in the world to do so.

There is a reason, why our tiger populations are increasing whereas other countries have seen their numbers decimated.

The flora and fauna of this country are our true legacy. I fully support the government action in this regard.

Poachers by species are humans but not necessarily humane.

The last thing we need is to listen to BBC, from a country which mass murdered civilians across all continents of the world for over 300 years.

Not to mention, it was the colonial Brits who hunted hundreds of species to their extinction in the first place.

They should be the last ones to lecture us how to protect our precious flora and fauna.
