Don't you think India is too late into making war planes, battle tanks, aircraft carriers and submarines, armoured vehicles etc..

It is better not to waste money on building machines to kill people and destroy property.
However, it's a necessary evil and I believe India already spends enough money on that. We don't really need to board each and every boat the sails.

Just to give you an example, have you heard about Karuturi Global ? It's an Indian agro-based company, that acquires vast tracts of land in Africa to mass-produce various kinds of agricultural products. I own a significant number of shares of that company.
