After Agni V Chinese obsession about India is growing, now they have started searching for news videos. What next?
Next 2 years max, India will be out of bonds.
It seems to be a national obsession in India: measuring the country’s economic development against China’s yardstick
Indians, in fact, seem to talk endlessly about all things China, a neighbor with whom they have long had a prickly relationship, but which is also one of the few other economies that has had 8 percent or more annual growth in recent years.
Indian newspapers are filled with articles comparing the two countries. Indian executives refer to China as a template for development. Government officials cite Beijing, variously as a threat, partner or role model.
But if keeping up with the Wangs is India’s economic motive force, the rivalry seems to be largely one-sided.
or labelling our missiles after other countries like the one below.
FORTY years later, and India still doesn't have either one of those things (even the above IRBM won't be inducted until 2015), yet you guys are still boasting so much.
One media outlet labeled it that, not DRDO or the government. There is a big difference.
Agni V: China Killer
Indian ICBM Agni 5 China Killer - YouTube
What the Indians don't realize... is that China had ICBM's with 10,000+ km range, back in the 1970's. And multiple-megaton nuclear warheads too.

does not matter when u made ur 10k missile, it can be 60's or 18th. century. What matters is what we have when we go for war if at all. As long as we have deterrent we are good. Agni V will give us that, plain and simple.
Can't China's anti-missile defense systems target and destroy the Agni-V?
You maybe able to do 99% of time but 1% will make you think. Agni V helps us stop war, its a tool for peace.
So India is willing to exercise it's 1% chance of hitting China with the Agni-5? What deterrence is there in 1%?
Not that there is any comparison. India's entire nuclear arsenal is only about 1 megaton in total, whereas one single Chinese nuke is 3-4 megatons alone.
LOL, it hasn't even been inducted yet (still several years away), and Indians are still boasting so much about it.
It is not even a deterrent to conventional war, because India has a "no first use policy" (as does China).
Which means we can theoretically even go into a full-scale war without bringing nuclear weapons to the table.
Not that there is any real comparison. India's entire nuclear arsenal is only about 1 megaton in total, whereas one single Chinese nuke is 3-4 megatons alone. One Chinese nuke, has more destructive power than India's entire nuclear arsenal.
Like the Indian Naval Chief said, "India cannot match China by conventional or non-conventional means".
