Pakistan says India fuels tensions in Baluchistan

Sun, 19 Jul 2009 00:55:36 GMT

Pakistan's Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani says that he has handed over evidence to his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh of India's involvement in insurgency in Baluchistan.

"With reference to Indian interference in Baluchistan we have informed India in categorical terms and it was the part of our joint declaration. When matter proceeds then the time will come to provide further evidence," Gilani told reporters in Islamabad after his four day visit to Egypt, where he attended the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit and had a meeting with his Indian counterpart, a Press TV correspondent reported late on Saturday.

Islamabad believes that Indian intelligence agencies are spearheading an insurgency in the oil rich Baluchistan province where Baluch tribal groups, seeking greater autonomy for the province, have been leading a violent campaign for years now.

Insurgency has increased in Baluchistan, which borders war-torn Afghanistan, following the 2001 US-led invasion that sent Taliban militants across the border into Pakistan.

The ideal approach would be to send dossiers/envoys to friendly countries and bring them into confidence, countries which have certain amount of influence over India as well and more over we should send India a clear message that if Indian insurgency doesnt stop, we have our options as well.

LOL. That's exactly what India is expecting.

Good Make Baluchistan a international issue and attract unnecessary attention.

When is Pakistani army going to enter Baluchistan ?

There is nothing lol about it. India is interfering in a soverign country which means that India is spreading terrorism something that the world should be aware of and also aware of the fact that if push comes to shove, dont expect another 71 but this time around India too will go down as have our own options.

Well you dont have any proofs for that that you can show anybody...do you think if Pakistan had proofs it would sit on them and not parade it in front of the whole world like India.

But then Maybe India is spreading terrorism, we can always say that we learnt it from you, whats the problem Bro.

The rest are empty threats and dont deserve a logical response.

The enterance of this matter into the joint statement and the acceptance by the Indian PM about looking into the matter negates the highlighted part about not having any proofs. And by the way it was India who started spreading terrorism into soverign parts of other countries and not the other way round. 71 is the classic example of Indian sponsored terrorism.

India have everything to do with the insurgency and fueling the militancy in that area how else would PA would be drag there. By the way there would be nothing for you to see and add fuel even after PA if enters in baluchistan. So if i were you, i wouldnt keep my hopes high.
