What do you know about our weapons purchasing ?We dont have enough weapons and our total share us just 1.5% of GDP.
India didnt have this kind of weapons around one decades ago.Because at that time our GDP was just 500 billion $.
Now we are a 2.6 trillion$economy having 7.5 and growing GDP .So our share of defence will also increase .Within few years we will have a 7 trillion$ economy so we have to spend more than now to secure economy and interests .It is just a learning and ability curve .

In fact ,we dont have enough weapons now .To neutralize Pakistan or China we have indigenous technologies and missiles .
We dont need foreign import .
If China wasnt there we wouldnt have nukes but other weapons will always in there for security even if there is no Pak or Chin.
Even Scandinavians have such weapons even if there is no serious threats .

We dont have any hate towards Pakistan.In fact we likes to love our western neighbour .
But honestly says it is quite other way around

india had been trying to isolating Pakistan for ages BUT managed to isolate ONLY itself> Latest example is OBOR all major countries were there except for india. And geographically speaking, india is already isolated - Pakistan cut india off from Central Asia, Himalayan range cut india from China, Bangladesh virtually cut india from South East Asia (any remaining spaces in indian NE are treacherous or infested with insurgency).
