In case of India - China conflict / war what should be the Pakistani position.

Stay away or launch attack on Kashmir to liberate the rest of the Kashmir.

Depends, in case of a localized conflict it's best for Pakistan to stay away or else it may become a full fledged war with India with unimaginable damage for Pakistan. If it's full blown war with China and India is tied in the eastern front then may be just may be Pakistan can think about launching some kind of surprise attack with some military objectives to fulfill.

I think attack to take as much Kashmir as you can and in case India threatens Nuclear War than we are more than ready for that.

Depends, in case of a localized conflict it's best for Pakistan to stay away or else it may become a full fledged war with India with unimaginable damage for Pakistan. Siachen is a different issue, you cant defend Kashmir from Siachin...remember Kargil.

True, what I meant was the question is whether Pakistan wants a war with India? In case of a localized conflict with China, if Pakistan tries something adventures then India can climb the escalation ladder as it pleases and it will be an all out war then, with implementation the cold start doctrine etc. Only in case of an all out war with China Pakistan will have an opportunity but chances of an all out war is pretty slim.

Siachen is a different issue, you cant defend Kashmir from Siachin...remember Kargil.

During Kargil too the calculation of Pakistan was due to nuclear weapons India will trend carefully and most probably will run to US and UN and wouldn't undertake military action. You know what happened, rest assures India can only be defeated completely or not at all. Only scenario were India can be defeated completely is a full blown two front war.

Spanked by China last I checked India's doctrine in case of conflict with China was to quickly grab as much territory as possible before China can bring in reinforcements through the mountainous terrain
