It reminds me of some of the scenes in a rather infamous documentary video from the mid 80s,Shocking Asia,which showed half rotting corpses floating down the ganges,while people bathed,seemingly oblivious,just a short distance away.

This was pretty shocking stuff back in the pre-internet days of the early to mid 1980s,tho the documentary supposedly dates back to the mid 70s.

Horrible. I am hoping this is something else and not what the tweet is saying it is. The thought that this is ongoing in India is not something to be happy about or gloat over. A stable, enlightened India, that is not paranoid, is important for Pakistan. Otherwise Indian politicians will drive Indians into a mob mindset and will enable them to enact dumb moves and policies that will hurt Pakistan and also its own citizens. We need a mature, stable and forward looking continent.

Why even a Congress candidate ? There is the young Kanhaiya Kumar, ex-JNU student and now of the Communist Party of India. He is intelligent and a good orator, a good debater and a fine interviewee. He has the ability to humor crowds while enlightening them in true sense. I think he should be the 2024 election PM candidate accepted by the Congress and its UPA alliance. The Aam Aadmi Party should join this alliance as also the left groups other than the CPI.

Exactly, for last few years there were countless incidents of Muslim Lynchings across India and these are ones which were reported in media and no body paid any heed to these seriously you know why because these are Muslims who ruled us in the past so this is the high time we teach them a lesson and look now “Allah SWT ki laathi be Awaaz hoti hey” ... now the same hindutva start chanting Allah ...but let me tell you they are by design like that and I do not see any tabdeeli of ravayiya towards mazloom Muslims...

In Uttar Pradesh and Bihar there are the Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Rashtriya Janata Dal which are meant to be progressive groups. They should ally with those leftist groups locally and nationally whose aim is worldwide revolutionary change or at least be local but be sympathetic to global-looking groups. I mean groups like CPI and SUCI.

Yes, firewood is in shortage. Too many bodies. But the authorities should have buried the bodies not in sand but in mud away from the dog-infested riverside and buried the bodies deeply ( like the Christians and Muslims ). And done that in mass funeral instead of allowing people to come individually and bury at varied times.

While there are Indians who are constantly pointing towards this new fall brought by Modi and Co, there seems to be no matching political figure that can change things for good.

Its not just about congress party , half of TV news and daily soap channels are owned by TV network 18 which is owned by Reliance Industries other half are owned by Zee network and subsidiary outfits.
So irrespective of who says something against modi , he will be put down, ridiculed, proved a moron. If he happens to be an accomplished person he will be termed to be acting on behalf of China's or anti-nationalist forces.
