New Delhi: India on Wednesday announced humanitarian assistance of US $ 3 million to Libya.
The assistance comprises US $ 1 million cash through UNOCHA and relief material and medicines to the tune of US $ 1 million to Benghazi and Tripoli each.
A cheque of US $ 1 million was handed over on Wednesday to Under Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs Valerie A mos at New York by India's permanent representative, Hardeep Singh Puri.
