India and Brazil have no possibility of conflict at all

Talk of economic cooperation between the BRIC nations - Brazil, Russia, India and China - is frequent. But visiting India recently, Brazilian defence minister Celso Amorim spoke with Josy Joseph about the importance of strengthening bilateral defence ties, sharing valuable tips - and enjoying a relationship free of disputes...

...We'd like to collaborate in aircraft manufacturing, naval construction, cyber defence, etc...

...We have different regional issues but we have common views on a multipolar world, UNSC expansion...

...at some point, we'd like to discuss fifth generation fighters...

...We'd like to discuss the development of a basic trainer for the air forces...

That are excellent news and I really hope we take this as a chance to improve the relations to Brazil and it's industry!

. . . .
Brazil needs to be taught the importance of not assisting Pakistan with weapons that can harm india like anti radiation missiles they sold Pakistan. Hopefully, trade will help but it should be spelled out before we go any further.

And there we go again with pakophobia. Man you Indians are so obsessed that you can't even take a dump without thinking about Pakistan.

If every single foreign policy of yours starts with isolation of Pakistan then you've got to be the most coward regional power in the history ever!

Hardly, it is very sensible for India to leverage its growing power to isolate/defend against a major threat of her's. If India didn't do this she'd be a fool.

You're only upset because you see yourself getting more and more isolated, but tbh this isn't only by Indian design, you guys don't help yourselves.

Tomorrow's news today ; Hina Rabbani Khar visits Brazil !

Imagine our surprise.

whatever man brazil is a good economy just like us. we need collaboration. companies like embraer should set up manufacturing centres in india. they can also teach us some football...lol

The football training would be highly welcomed, but I also see a possibility to co-develop IAC 2 and a naval AMCA for both navies. Brazil has interest in developing 2 aircraft carriers and France is already offering them assistance, but we could offer them even participation in the AMCA development, which would be very interesting for them as well.
On the other side, we are looking for a new basic trainer and Embraer has very good experience in this field and would be a perfect partner for HAL.

Great chances for joint developments and costs!

In other words, having powerful state of art weapons worth hundreds of billions is not enough to boost your morale and confidence, you have to go for cheap tactics and prevent your five times smaller adversary to grow muscles.

Cowards by any standard indeed.

Isolated? Dude we're already importing arms from every corner of the world. You tried to pressure US and Sweden and failed miserably to block delivery of block 52 F-16's and Erieye. Hell you couldn't even stop Russia, who btw you think you own, from selling the engines for JFT.

You cannot isolate Pakistan, period!
