Vajpayee was not criticising Islam , he was criticising the conduct of muslims. Nothin wrong with that . I have seen many muslims say these things as well. He also said that " Islam promotes peace ..." in that very speech.

Firstly there have never been allegations on the Indian govt. for causing Gujarat riots , the allegations were on the Gujarat govt. , and nothing was proved against the govt. Gujarat was an unfortunate incident but hey Muslims started it by burning 60 hindus alive.

At the end of the day, hindus and sikhs of Pakistan are fleeing Pakistan to live in India while Indian muslims aren't fleeing India to go to Pakistan or Bangladesh . That says it all.
