In tears, in loneliness: PM Hasina & Rehana while publishing father's book

My mom side is from west bengal not dad's side. Its a different story though.

I personally do not have beef with any member here including you. But constant one sided rant by some member make things boring. When it came anti Indian activity in Bangladesh, I along with other that you have said confused one protested most. But what some member do is post only one sided news all the time and launch personal attack on other repeatedly. I hope you have already seen. But problem start when if I post any good economic progress related news these people start launching personal attack and so on but I do not bother them when they start and put all the rant in one sided threads. It is not like that I have not posted news of BAL which goes against the interest of Bangladesh. Then this are the same people who liked my post and praised me.

N trying to associate every one with certain party is absolutely foolish one. Dhaka is a small city and here most of the people has link with each other one way or another. Having some link with the top part memebrs of the major party is not a bad thing at all, considering the nature how everything works in Bangladesh.

I hope you wont disagree with the fact that this sub forum is not about only anti BAL or anti India related thread??? Every sort of things both good and bad needs to be discussed here.

Apart from party activist you will find more then 95% of the youth and general people are fed up with both BAL and BNP. You should have noticed the trends among most of the youths apart from few. N support for Jammat is lowest. Every one needs change. If any one say BNP is better then BAL or BAL is better then BNP these people are null and void from reality. Seeing the trend in last 22 years it is clear if the root of the parties and their structure is not changed nothing is not gonna changed and desired progress can not be achieved.

your argument will go in vain these folks look at entities like bal bnp and jamat as if they were some super natural entity incapable of wrong, its sad to see that many people still engage in idol worshiping even after accepting Islam

. .
Every people can have their agenda... This is none of my business. What awami league is doing people of Bangladesh are watching this and if they do more bad works then good works they will get their due result during the next election. That is beyond control of few people of this forum when there is not even 50 active Bangladeshi member in this forum. Let things happen as it is and let people judge their own decision. N most of the people those who come here apart from few has not any direct political affiliation not more then supporting some party at best. Most of the people come here to see progress in Bangladesh, its problems and discuss defense related news not just bashing one party considering most of the viewer are international members. It will paint Bangladesh and Bangladeshis in a bad way and nothing more then that can be achieved. Most importantly if this is the only strategy taken or already taken by few this could put ordinary Bangladeshi member residing in Bangladesh in danger.

If you discuss only one sided bashing news then whole forum can be termed as biased and launch pad for anti state activity. My request dnt put ordinary members into trouble.

This is an anonymous forum, so your concerns I believe are unjustified. If anything it goes to show the depravity of RAWami regime and its "terrorist" ways. But members sitting in Bangladesh, if they have disclosed their identities to other members, should be careful about what they say, if there is safety concerns about RAWami "terrorists".

But all those living overseas, we are free to say the truth as we see fit. If you don't like it, there is nothing much we can do about it. We will not be censored. And your effort to tell us what we should say or not say, is interesting to say the least.

There is only bal, bnp and jamat on the scene. We choose bnp+jamat to kick out Indian agent bal. Lets hear about how you would do it.

@ About Khaleda Zia.

Her father is from Noakhali and their family came from Arab. Her father used to serve in Tea garden. After partition they all settled at Dinajpur. Her mother belongs to Panchagarh and they are from "T" family as stated by her mother. Basically these "T" family was evicted from Murshidabad by the East India Company. They were part of Serajdullah family hence Persian origin.

@ As per the statement of Khaleda's mother, these "T " family was very respectable family during the British times. All the members used to get a monthly honorarium and could freely go to England even without visa in those days. ( Read on an artcle and her mother's statement in the press)

@ I myself could not tress out about this "T" family. I know about the " Mirza " family.

the mirza's of murshidabad? are

are you saying khaleda is from the najafi clan? its odd they were all shia she isnt

you should first start from home by switching off star plus and quit buying indian dresses, bnp and jamat will also kiss indian ***, i was looking it up for my paper even during the bnp jamat times when people were killed in the border not once was the indian ambassador summoned or a letter sent demanding explanation sent to to india, i also found out that during the bnp combo jamati rule a barrage of sub standard indian mechanical rickshaws and taxis made their way into bangladesh en mass, no effort was made to block out star plus or zee tv

i dont see how bnp and jamat will fend of the so called indian influence instead will be another bunch of *** kissers

About BNP vs BAL, as I said many times, I am as disgusted with both as any other. But I am also convinced that we need to remove BAL and only way we can do that is by bringing BNP back to power. Why, because it is obvious that BAL has ties to India and it seems more interested to protect Indian interest than Bangladesh interest. A third party is impossible to create before Dec. 2013 election, so for this or even the next election that discussion is moot.

You sure about that?

Answer me this: How come is it that the BNP/Jamaat hardly ever come with a strategy to contain Indian influence? Did they ever have a security strategy in the first place? The likely answer is no.

And how do you explain some of our own Bangladeshi posters accusing and calling others as Jamati and Razakar, some even called me those names, not knowing or trying to understand anything about my position about this ideology, which I explained many times.

The term 'Razakar' has evolved into some form of slang here on PDF. Especially among some Indian members. You don't agree with them, expect to be called a 'Razakar'.

I think no Bangladeshi should call another Bangladeshi a Razakar, that is a grave insult. And Jamati's are also Bangladeshi, yes they believe in some ideology, which I personally do not believe in, but I believe that they have the right to believe in what ever ideology they want to believe in, as long as they are not harming the interest of Bangladesh and its people. And if there is a struggle between BNP and BAL, Jamat will be helping BNP, we all know that. So in order to remove BAL, they will become handy and useful.

Jamaat is a legal and a legitimate party no matter how much the AL and India huff and puff about them. They've been doing that right from the start.

Although, it is understandable that it is a controversial party due to their past. Many prominent folks in Bangladesh despise them very much for the lobbying against the creation of Bangladesh.

It was officially banned at some point by the Mujib regime. Then again revived by the Zia regime in order to partly appease the Americans. It took us a long time to be recognized by the US.

And interestingly, the US has not commented on this 'war crimes' trial going on now.

Anyhow, that party is more or less inconsequential. I still fail to understand why India and AL give so much attention to such an insignificant entity. No where else in the world are they given so much attention, not even in Pakistan. All this paranoia over Jamaat is just laughable.

Personally I could care less about any of these political parties, but for future of Bangladesh, I see that we have to favor one party, promote it, use another party to help it and remove the one that is harmful for Bangladesh.

I think many of us are quite clear about above. To these people yours and others posts seem confusing, because you seem to not understand this strategy, which is implicitly understood by many others including myself.

If you have political connection, that is well and good, good for you, its useful if you need to get something done in Bangladesh, like you said, but it has not much to do with our discussion above.

These are my personal views. You may disagree and everyone is entitled to their own opinion and political views. If the views do not match, we should politely agree to disagree, I hope everyone should maintain this standard of Adab-kaida (manners) as we say in Bengali.

And As I mentioned in some posts we need to start thinking beyond these low life political parties for the longer term. There are much better ways to do things if we put our mind to it. I will be talking more about them in future posts.

All that a$$-biting in the politics of Bangladesh will go on for a long time. That is, as long as the two begums are alive, along with their families. Throwing them all out of the political scene will not be easy.

I don't watch star tv or any tv (no tv in my home) or buy Indian dress. Yes there could be infiltration in these parties as well, but not in the level we have in RAWami League. Paresh Baruah and ULFA leaders were not handed over by Khaleda Zia.

Now what was the answer to my question again? Which ones would you choose among bal, bnp and jamat? Or do you prefer not to say?

Yes, I am 100% sure BNP+Jamat is better than BAL, whose history with RAW/India is well known and well proven. Some few leaders in BNP may have been compromised to Indians, but overall they are much better to work with than Hasina led BAL.

They don't have a strategy because most are busy in corruption or just plain stupid and incompetent like most leaders in the country, who have no idea how to manage a country. May be some of you guys can become advisers to BNP leaders, so we can give them some strategy.

The correct spelling is trial. Trail is for hiking trail.

MUA/FUA tried to throw out the two Begum's, and tried to create a 3rd party with Dr. Yunus, we know how that went. So they will be there till they can no longer walk or talk and finally retire or just get sick and die. I was talking about creating a grass roots movement that will bear fruit after a generation, lets say 15-20 years.

True. BNP is the lesser evil. They have lots of support now, but I'm a bit worried about this CTG thingy.

Oopss...

Well, I think CTG is the key, based on this one issue BNP+Jamat should plan for a Bangladeshi Spring based on occupation of Shapla Chattar and nearby streets till CTG is agreed to by Hasina. As I said in an earlier post, if more than 50-100 people die at the hands of RAWami thugs and security forces, Hasina govt. will fall. Sometimes spilling of blood is the price we have to pay.

option none of the above, these folks are all the same just in different dresses. They have been tried and tested nothing good came out of them.

. . .
We been correct all along; ghoti heritage never wash up. We should never trust this ghoti class who are more danger to Bangladesh than indians.

Khaleda Zia is a Ghoti. I heard Zia also had some ghoti things going on with him too. Ershad is a 100% Ghoti. Now who else left over.. Ohh yes, Al-Zakir, Md_Akmal Ghoti too as they migrated after 1947.

Maaaaaaaaaaan.. you are so lonely now.

Women should stick to cooking, cleaning, looking after kids and satisfying her man unconditionally in the bedroom unless they are made like margaret thatcher, indira gandhi, so basically unless they are like men.

We have an election coming up. The only options are:
1. bal
2. bnp with or without jamat support
3. ershad's jatiyo party supporting one of above, most probably bal

None of the above is not an option, as someone has to be in power. Dr. Yunus or Dr. Kamal Hussain do not have a viable party yet, when they do, we can talk about them.

We been correct all along; ghoti heritage never wash up. We should never trust this ghoti class who are more danger to Bangladesh than indians.

Its possible, but we cannot discriminate based on lineage or place of origin. We can only identify individuals for their activities against national interest.

Very sexist, wait till you get married, you will see who is the boss.
